man.... today's scuba practical lesson was quite insane. never been so close to drowning before. Instructor kept failing his arms everywhere, grabbing me, smashed my mask, grabbed my regulator to breath... and then had to inflate his bouyancy control vest (something like a life vest but inflatable by air or by blowing into it) and man i am half his weight maybe even 3/4. Stress and Rescue lessons, they are not to be reckoned with. That was in the swimming pool without waves and all... Imagine that in choppy seas and nothing but metres and metres of sea water between your toes.
