Guard's New Pool

For his birthday, Guard received a personal pool - just the right size for him.  He didn't know what it was until we blew it up and filled it with water.  Then he was excited.
I tried to let the water sit all day to warm it up, but we had to put the pool in the front yard so Coal wouldn't pop it and then all the kids in the neighborhood would walk past and splash some.  That's great, but when 20 kids are splashing, your water disappears quickly.  We had to fill it back up with cold water after dinner.  Oh well!  It's been really hot, so it probably felt a little good to cool off.
Guard was so excited and ready to go.
Finally making it into the pool!  I guess the water was colder than we thought!
He didn't last too long, but had a great time splashing and playing with his torpedoes.
I think I see a lot of splashing this summer!
