January

Is January over yet? I really don't get the point of January. It is a really lame month, if you ask me. Okay, so there is Civil Rights day, but that could come any time of the year, really. I think that January should be deleted from the calendar. Couldn't we just start with February? At least February has all the love--that's a good way to start a year, with love.....right? That or something needs to be added to January to make it worthwhile. All it has is crappy weather, post holiday blues, spring fever, crappy weather (did I mention that already?) and that's it! What can we throw in to spice things up? I am glad this month is almost over. Let's move along, here people!

Since I am posting, here is an update on the kiddos:

DB: up for best big brother of the year---we went to Funzone (building full of bounce houses and inflatable slides) and he was awesome at keeping an eye out for JT who insisted on following DB around. Plenty of other "big" kids were there who just ran over the little ones and really just ran around like wild banshees. DB was obedient to the rules and kind to the little ones. He rocks.

JT: proficient at all the doorknobs in the house, and madly in love with "Incredib" and "Cars" the movies. He also loves Buzz, but not the movie. He loves to jump, especially to music and currently his favorite songs are "Popcorn Popping" and "I Gotta Feeling" by Black Eyed Peas. We are trying to make sure he is well rounded, after all! Can't have ALL church music ALL the time!

Super Girl: is just that. She is doing the baby crunches to get ready for sitting up, She is figuring out how to laugh, but it still comes out like a little cough. She HATES to be in a room alone, and is madly in love with her brothers.

We call January "the dulldrums". Thankgoodness we got married in January, or else I don't think I could maintain the will to survive. ;)

You're telling me! I HATE January, and February for that matter. Valentine's Day is just a day for retailers to make money. I never get anything anyway, so I say we skip straight to March 17th. I mean, green IS the best color. And St. Patrick's Day is definitely worth celebrating. Although I don't drink beer. :)

See I disagree in a way!

January is all about getting back to the good old routine and deep cleaning the house. The kids are back in school. Regardless if it's cold outside I bundle the kids up and out they go into the backyard. :) The weather is kind of a downer sometimes...but that hits me more about March, when it teases with a NICE day, and then back to winter.

One disadvantage is that my calling is SUPER busy from Jan - May so that's kind of a bummer!

I know I'm weird but I really like January!

Hey you guys are the lucky ones. You get to see a change in the weather. Most of the time I just see the sun. Once in a while we will get a storm to dump a lot of rain but that doesn't last. For me I would love to have snow here in San Diego. From November to March it is just too much the same for me. I would like to see more cold in January. That is just me.

Glad to hear the kiddo's are doing great.

January is a yucky month for me also. I have spring fever so bad it hurts. Bring on February!

Ditto sis! Like I said on my blog...January is my jinxed month! I can't think of anything good that has happened in January for a while! I would love the sun that Brandon is getting...but I guess I do like having 4 season...including winter. I just have to complain about it every once in a while! :)
