A Third TTM Success From Scott Bailes

While going through my boxes, I found even more cards of Scott Bales so I could send a third TTM request to him.  The cards I got back were all junk wax era cards, but there's nothing wrong with that.  Above is a 1990 Donruss that turned out nicely.
Above are cards from 1990 Fleer, 1992 Fleer, 1991 Score and 1988 Donruss.  Somewhere i have a partial 1990 Fleer set.  Who knows where that is.  Otherwise, I'd have a lot more of them in the autograph album.

I mailed to Bailes on November 19 and got the cards back on December 6 for a 17-day TAT.

Another TTM Success From Scott Bailes

I sent to Scott Bailes and got some cards back signed in 2018.  I had some nice stuff built up of him, so I decided to send again.  The above 1986 Donruss Rookies came out really well.  I always liked this set; I had the 1986 Donruss Highlights set (and still do around here somewhere).
My goal of getting an 86 Sportflics in my album kind of backfired, since he signed the back of the card.  That's ok, the front probably would have bled and smeared anyway.  It was worth a shot.  I also got a 1990 Score Rookies and Traded and a 1988 Donruss Baseball's Best, which turned out nicely.

I mailed to Bailes on December 22 and got the cards back on January 9, for an 18-day TAT.

TTM Success - Scott Bailes

Here is another player among the long list of players that I pulled while trying to add to my 1987 Topps set.  I had quite a few of his cards, and they all look really nice.  Not often mentioned is a box of mid-80s Donruss and Fleer that I have.  I try to add some of them to my TTM requests from time to time, so my returns aren't always so loaded with Topps stuff.

The above 1987 Fleer is a nice card.  I like the blue background.  I've got a few other TTM requests outstanding that came from that box, so there should be a few others coming in here and there.
I did have some Topps cards in the request, though.  Obviously, I sent the '87.  I also added a 1990 and a 1992.  The borders of 1990 always are fun, and the photos in 1992 are nice.  1992 didn't have photography that matched 1991, but it was still a decent set.

Bailes (b. 1961) played in the majors from 1986 to 1992 and 1997 to 1998 for the Indians, Angels and Rangers.  He had a career record of 39-44 with 351 strike outs and a 4.95 ERA.

I mailed to Bailes on January 20 and got the cards back on February 1, for a 12-day TAT.
