Hiii everyone!
Today is mine and Kylas last Get the Look post on Sarah Hyland! I could shed a brief tear. Heheh. But, I saved my best post for last... Check out her makeup.. WHAT A BABE. Why is everyone so obsessed with Kylie Jenner when theres Sarah Hyland? Like she does a brown lip too? I don't get it....  Sarah always wears a pretty smokey eye with a brownish matte lip. She goes from grey smokey eyes to brown and is always very luminous! Her skin always looks amazing and has the most perfect glow. Keep reading on to find out more about this beaut and how to recreate it! AND BEWARE OF THE BROWS! Hahahhaha we filled them in to be thick like hers and they look a bit much but I promise by the end it looks perfect!

So first we did our foundation/contour routine which you can find here and highlighted with Nars Albatross. Then filled in her brows hehe.  Then I took my Lorac Pro 2 Palette and took Cool Grey on a crease brush and focused it in windshield wipers into her crease. Then with a bigger brush blended it all out. Then we took Chrome and patted it onto the lid.

After that, we took, cool gray and focused this on the lower lash line to smoke it out a bit. Make sure to blend this as well! Then took Snow on her inner corners and right on the brow bone to lighten things up a bit! To finish, on her lips we used Wet and Wilds 'Bare it All'. I liked this color, its not turning up as brown as it was on camera. But for more of a brown lip, I would choose 'Gingerly' by Mac.

Get The Look: Sarah Hyland Pt 2

I'm back today again with Kyla with our Sarah Hyland Get the Look series! If you didn't see our first posts, look here! Today, we are recreating her Emmys look ahhhhhh. TO DIE FOR. Sorry to anyone this might offend but I feel like this really put Sarah on the map of the celebs to watch. She looked so effortless, but, so chic. I fell in love instantly. Sooo today I am going to be replicating her bun while Kyla will be doing her outfit!

First, take all of our hair on the top of your head and put it in a pony. Tease that entire pony.
Nowwwwwwww, I have a little cheat sheet. Take either a sock or one of these bad boys and put your hair into the hole.
Now starting in the front, bring all the hair forward and then wrap all the hair around the donut/sock.
Secure the ends with a bobby pin under the bun.
Take your hand with your fingers spread open into the front to loosen up the bun, to make it more messy.
AND thats it.
Literally.
Im not lying.

Easy peasy lemon squeaky. A chic bun in like two seconds. Thats my favorite kinda bun. Go try this out on yourself! I bet you can do it in two minutes. I dare you! Now go check out Kylas outfit! I am soooooooo obsessed with this! Tell me you don't love this. I feel like it would be perfect for the holidays-- that red skirt? Ughh!

Photography as always by the lovely Sarah Bedzyk!
Check her out @ www.sarahkathrynphoto.com and like her on Facebook here.
I'm not giving away any clues but there may or may not be a makeup tutorial next!

Keep your eyeeeez opennnn 0_o

Fall Lazy Day Inspo- All black er thang

Oh November.
Can we just pause for a second to talk about where September and October went? The heck?!
But, I'm so happy to see you. Although, I hate you too. I'm sorry. I can't help it.
Come Winter and colder weather comes Dead Emily. Literally dead. Atleast to the world that is. It started off with just laryngitis, but, now I've been sick in bed not moving for at least 4 days now. So whilst not doing anything but sitting in bed, comes Pinterest and browsing every clothes website that ever existed.

lazyday
sunglasses: here boots: here necklace: here black t: here flannel: here pants: here or here

Please tell me I'm not the only one who loves an all black outfit? I know its not everyones cup of tea but, something about it is just so boss. Like excuse me, Im wearing all black don't mess with me. Since I'm sick and all I wanted to put together an outfit you can just throw on while running errands, or go shopping, or going to lunch with friends. I think this is so effortless but I'm obsessed with leather pants as you know for fall, I have been ADDICTED to oversized flannels, and even more obsessed with over the knee boots. Would you rock this outfit?!

Let me know in the comments belowwwwww.
I just discovered Polyvore and am in love, so go follow me to see more outfits like this one!

DIY: BLACK SWAN

HIIIIII
for my last Halloween DIY I thought why not do the Black Swan.
Natalie Portman is legit in that movie. Like that and that other movie with Ashton Kutcher came out around the same time and I remember looooooving her in that then seeing Black Swan and thinking, what in the world. Of all worlds. Is going on. Am i the only one? If you haven't watched it go check it out. The makeup in this movie is soooo DOPE and I thought why not put my own twist on it? I think this is such a cute costume to rock with a black ballerina tank and a black tutu. You'd look like a babe. Bet ya!

First thing we did is take the lightest foundation in Loreal True Match and apply it all over the face and down the neck. Then take a white translucent powder and don't tap off the excess and just pat it all over the skin. This is what really gives that white creepy base.

Then, start contouring with a gray shadow. Really accentuate this, the more you contour the creepier you'll look and thats all cooool for Halloween. Skip the blush and for a highlight I actually took Macs Pigment in White. I wet my brush with Fix+ and put it under the eyes, down the bridge of the nose, the cupids bow, the chin, etc etc.

Now for the eyes--
We took any black shadow and put it all over the lid as a base. Then with eyelash glue pat it on the skin where you want the feathers, wait like ten seconds so it gets tacky, then apply them where you seem fitting. Then we took hairspray and just sprayed where we wanted the feathers to stay. They were going everyyyywhere, their nuts. Finished it off with some black liner, and smudged it all out with a shadow.

To finish off the look, I took a matte red lipstick (Russian Red from Mac) and applied that, then took Night Moth, a dark lipliner and put in the inside to make it look extra creepy.
AND BAM you're done. Go put your tutu on and call it a day hehe!

If you recreate any of these looks for Halloween I would love to see them!
This is unfortunately my last tutorial. Halloween came to fast. But, be safe and don't do anything I wouldn't do ;) AND HAVE FUN!

Talk to you soon xx

My Drugstore Holy Grailzzz

Hi, I really miss just chatting on here. Am I pathetic? Maybe I need some friends haha.
But, I like you guys. I feel like when Im shopping I go home and think, oh my lanta I got to go blog about all the cool things I found. Like its ridiculous. Haha, its like you guys are my friends and I just have to tell you everything I bought.. This sounds sad, but, its the trufffth. When I'm doing tutorials I just feel like its straight to the point and dry. Like, blend, put on lipstick BYE. So lets actually get back to normal and be BFFz again? Ok, good. Thanks.

So I'm gonna talk about something close to my heart and apparently your guys too.
Drugstore Products.
Where do you draw the line? What should you splurge on?
Honestly, heres my say, I don't draw the line anywhere. I don't think you exactly need to splurge on anything. Thats my opinion others may be different but, I like to try everything. Some drugstore products yes, for lack of a better word, the pits. But honestly, so are some high end Dior things. Im not against anything. But, don't get me wrong, I do love high end things, as you may see in my tutorials. On the other hand tho, I do love me a good NYC find. You do you, if something works for you and its a dollar. GIRRRL YAAAASSS. Im jealous and let me in on it. But like I said, I'm here to try everything from drugstore to high end for you to see what you need to go out and buy right now or pass on. So lets get to it.

NYC Liquid Liner-- Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm. I'm obsessed. If you follow a lot of bloggers, or you tubers you may already have heard the rave about this. But, its literally one of the blackest eyeliners I've ever used. The applicator is also amazing. Its super easy to work with and lasts forever. Wait for it.... Its also only $2.99. You should go buy it if you're obsessed with a nice wing like me.

Keepin on the NYC train, their Sunny Bronzer... I've talked about this a hundred and one times. But, one more won't hurt. This is a perfect bronzer. I literally reach for it more than I do my high end ones. I love it. There is no shimmer and it literally mimics a real tan. It gives you some color without looking Jersey Shore-esq if you're picking up what I'm putting down. This is also $2.99 ughhhhh. Its almost a complete dupe for Benefits Hoola Bronzer if you're into that but for a fraction (not even) of the cost.

Rimmels Lash Accelerator Mascara! This gem is like $7.99 I think... This is an amazing mascara. It lengthens like no other. Im obsessed with this one mascara from Mac, I think its called Extended Play and this is exactly like it, if not better. Its a miracle worker for my bottom lashes. When I wear this its like BAM there they are. I LOVE IT. I would pick this over a lot of high end mascara. Oh, and it lasts a super long time too. I wore it to bed (I know bad) on accident and I woke up and my lashes still were like Hayyyyyyy.

Revlons lipsticks, lipglosses, lipstains. Anything Revlon lip wise. Im about.  They are soooo pigmented and last a good amount of time for being $4. Their lipsticks after Mac and YSL are my favorite lipsticks of all time. They have the most PERFECT nudes and fall colors. No other drugstore lipstick touches Revlons. My favorite is Pink Pout and Nude Attitude. Im not kidding I reach for these two more than any of my other lipsticks 75% of the time. And thats a big deal considering the amount of lip sticks I do have. I have loved these for yeaaaaaaars. My first ever lipstick I actually wore on a daily basis was Nude Attitude and I have repurchased it at least 10 times.

Loreal Viable Lift Blur Foundation & Loreal True Match
This stuff is amazing. I got it because honestly, I was like I love my Loreal True Match, its my favorite foundation, so why not try it? And I'm so glad I did. It literally blurs my pores, blurs every imperfection and it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. Which is a plus! I loveeeee it. Its awesome for everyday! Loreal True Match is more for a night out. Its full coverage and you can definitely tell you have foundation on. But, it makes you look flawless. Its great for people with problem skin that wants a foundation to really cover everything. I use this on clients alllll zeeeee time. I love it.

NYX anything, practically is bomb.
I love their blushes, their concealers, their lip glosses.
Their lip butter glosses are everything. And they smell like vanilla. What else do you need in life? Their staying power isn't that great but if you're ok with reapplying its beautiful when its on and moisturizes your lips like no ones business. My favorite is creme brûlée! You can get them at Ulta for like $5.

----
So theres that....
You have all my secrets to cheap deals.
You're welcome ;)

Talk to you guys soon!

DIY: Mermaid Tutorial! MOSTLY DRUGSTORE!

Hiiiiiiiiii everyone, I'm back with another HALLOWWEEEEEEEN tutorial.
This time a MERMAID.
Ok, like vampires, I am obsessed with mermaids. I want to be one.
Im actually pretty obsessed with Carli Bybel a you tuber and I got inspiration from one of her videos a few Halloweens back and I alwayyyyyyyys wanted to try it out so I thought leeeegggoooooooo.
So Halloween gives you the chance to do this! Its super cool and easy, but pretty and not scary;)
And its actually pretty cheap to do by yourself at home!
If you're interested how to get this look, keep on reeeadin

First things first we did our foundation/contour routine which you can find here!

For eyes we primed of course with any eye primer.
Then took Maybellines Color Tattoo in Tenacious Teal and patted that on the outer corner of the eye and inner. Leaving the middle with no shadow. Then we took Urban Decays Grifter or any light purple and patted that right in the middle where we left it bare and blended it all out with a clean blending brush making sure theres no harsh lines! Then to intensify the teal we took our Mac Fix+ (or if you read this post you may know you can replace this with eye drops) and sprayed our brush and then picked up Maybellines Tattoo Pure Pigment in Never Fade Jade and patted it right over the teal and blend it all out with a blending brush again. Then taking the teal we lined the underneath of the eyes and afterwards took NYX Jumbo Pencil in Purple Velvet and lined our waterline and took any white shimmery shadow and just highlight the inner corner and brow bone. Then BLEND everything out one more time!

NOW FOR THE FUN PART:
Take some fishnet stockings and place it where you would want the scales and then take the Maybelline Tattoo in Tenacious Teal and start patting in random places, again to intensify it take Never Fade Jade then take the light Purple shade and start patting that on the outer edges of where you want your scales to end. To really get a gradient effect, take the shimmery white shadow and go right at the edge. Just to make it look faded to nothing. If ya know what I'm sayin... This part you have to really make sure you don't move the stocking unless the scales will move. Then we took some eyelash glue and put it on the back of our hand and waited a few minutes so it will get tacky. We placed it wherever we wanted the glitter (I got the glitter and sequins at Jo Ann Fabrics for literally $3) and then took the glitter and sequins where ever we thought would look good. And voilllaaaaaa finished with some Pink Lipstick and you're set!

Now you're the prettiest mermaid in the whhooooleeee worrrrld;)
Keep checkin by for some new Halloween Looks! See ya lata alligata or should I say mermaid?

Extreme Makeover Mom Edition: Part 2

OKKKIEEEE so guess who's finally back with Part 2!
Yeah I know, Im pretty late, but, I've been busy. Im sawwryyy.
If you haven't seen Part 1 go check it out here!

So lets get back to Caitlyn!
I wanted to do something very quick and easy on her since she's a mom of about to be two! I know not all mothers have the time to do this every single morning so just take little bits of pieces of what I did and incorporate it into you're everyday routine.

First, I of course did my contouring and highlighting! (This is optional but honestly, this makes all the difference) If you get it down, it will take you an extra five minutes.
I used Urban Decays Sin all over her lid, then took Nectar and Light Brown from the Lorac Pro Palette 2 in her crease to define a bit. I took Sin under the bottom lashes and finished it off with a nude liner and mascara! I filled in her brows with Taupe Dipbrow by Anastasia. I swear if you just did the contouring and highlighting, your brows, mascara, and lipgloss you would be good. I swear by good brows. It makes ALL of the difference. I finished off the look with Angel by Mac with Buxoms White Russian lipgloss!

For her hair, we curled it with a wand and put it upside down, ran our fingers through it and scrunched with Paul Mitchells Sea Salt Spray!

And VOILA!
This really is easy.
Maybe not the first time.
Or the second.
But the third time you will be a pro.
It will take ten minutes at most!

All you moms try this out. I want to see some before and after pics!
See you guys soon with some more Halloween Tutorials AHHHHH

DIY VAMPIRE TUTORIAL!

HIIIIIIIIIIII everyone!
Guess what time of year it is??!?!? Halloweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen!
If you have been following my blog for a while you would already know that a) I love fall and b) I love the Vampire Diaries. I have a huge addiction and I love Stefan so if you're team Damon-- byeeeeeeee! Hahah jk but really Stefan for the win. With Halloween right around the corner and the Vampire Diaries season premiere starting last week, I want to be a Vampire I decided... Or Daria. Or Poison Ivy. Im not sure yet. So I thought while I'm struggling to decide I would show all of you different options! For real tho, on a serious note, I dream I'm a vampire sometimes. Not kidding. I think I was one in a past life and doing this makeup just came so natural to me. I swear I'm not nuts. Its just super easy hahah.

With this look since the eyes are so dark, lets start on the them! Well do the face lata...
Prime your eyes! Then, I took a NYX Jumbo Liner in Dark Purple and covered the lid to start with a nice base. Then took my Lorac Pro Palette 2 and took the color Cool Gray in her crease and buffed it right out. Making sure that the Purple base and the Gray are all blended. Afterwards I took Black and patted that right onto the lid, then blended it all out again.

I didn't take pics of the face because I thought it was self explanatory but, I took my lightest foundation you know me I own a million cause I am a vamp in the winter, and applied it all over my face and neck. Then took a white face cream from the halloween store and blended that in. I used a translucent powder and patted it all over the skin for a matte look. Then took Cool Gray (from the Lorac Pro2) and used that to contour. Find out how to do that here!

For the veins under the eyes, I took a black liquid liner and started making little baby lines with other lines sprouting from the base. You can use a red cream from the Halloween store or I used a matte red lip stain and with a brush applied it right on top of the liner. To finish that up I blended the colors, Plum, Navy, and Black (again from my Pro2) and made the lines not to stark. Lined my top and bottom waterline with a Black liner and used mascara! Or, apply some fake lashes like we did! Then take the Black and Navy and with a pencil brush blend it right under the waterline to make the look really smoky!

The lips are my favvvorrrittteee part! I took Cyber from Mac and put it on the outer edges, then took Russian Red on the inside to make it look like bloody. Then I used Night Moth liner (from Mac) and blended both the colors together. Took Cyber again and patted it right in the middle again to blend. Lastly, took Black and put it right on the corners again, to make you look realllllll dead.

Then, take some blood and put it everywhere. Literally, wherever you want. We put it on the sides of the mouths and right on the inside of the lip where we put the Russian Red to make it look like she just got done feeding! And then slapped it everywhere else!

PLS CAN WE PLS PLS PLS TALK ABOUT HOW SICK THIS IS.
THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME DOING IT AND I AM IN LOVE.
DEAD.
BECAUSE I WANT TO DO THIS EVERYDAY. JK.
BUT I DO. IF PEOPLE WOULDNT STARE AT ME & THINK I WAS CRAZY.

-First get a cotton ball. Take a piece of it and start rolling it into a circle.
-Then put eyelash glue on your neck with two dots.
-Put the two circles of cotton onto the dots.
-Wait for it to dry.
-Then take some liquid latex (you can get this at the Halloween store for like $3) and apply it all over the cotton. Wait for it to dry again. After it drys start molding it. Take some tweezers and pronounce the middle of the circle and push the sides down so they are no harsh lines from the skin to the circle of cotton.
-Take your foundation and blend it alllll over. And take Cool Grey, Plum and Navy again and just start putting it all around to make it look nasty. Then take your bronzer with a blush brush and just blend that all out.
-Use liquid liner and put it right inside the circle to make it look dark and endless. (Apparently Cass liked this part hahahahah)
-Using that red cream or stain like I used start patting that inside the dark and just all around.
-MY FAVORITE PART TAKE THE FAKE BLOOD AND PLAY!

and vavooom you look like Stefan just bit you. Or Damon. Or whatever you're into.

So what did you all think?!?! Are you gonna be a vamp?!?!

Extreme Makeover: Mom Edition!

Hiiii Ladeeeez!
One day, I was ya know just hangin' out, not really sure doing what and got to thinking, most women honestly just don't know what they are doing when it comes to makeup. They have been doing the same thing thinking that it is fine for years! They don't understand that their is other ways to do makeup. From mothers, to highschoolers, to grandmas! I remember when I was in high school I thought it was the cooooolest thing to wear bronzer and black eyeliner.. Thats it. I thought I was SOOOOOO cute. I know a lot of time with mothers they think they just don't have the time. But believe me, makeup can be fast and cute! There is no excuses girlfriend! With your hair as well! Like I said tho, when I was in high school I thought I was all that and a bag of chips. You could not tell me that something would look better. Sooooooo I decided why not do a post and show before with no makeup, what they do on an everyday basis and then my version! That way, you can really see how much of a difference hair and makeup makes! Not that any of these girls I am using really need a makeover because they are all beautiful no matter what. But, just a little somethin fun!

My first edition is going to be: The Everyday Mom
The mom who doesn't really have time to do much, but wants to look put together.
So I picked Caitlyn!

Caitlyn is a mom to a two year old, Ava and is also expecting a baby boy in a few weeks!

Can we please talk about Avas big blue eyes?!?!?! Caitlyn is very simple and naturally beautiful. So, when I had her in my chair I thought, why not glam her up a little bit?! Even though I wanted her still to shine through with her beautiful pregnancy glow! I sat down with this mom and we went through her normal makeup routine. She says that when she does wear makeup, she uses Johnsons Baby Lotion, Bare Minerals foundation and bronzer. Then Bare Minerals mascara and some chapstick. Simple simple simple!

_______________
You can still be glam on a budget, and on a time schedule. Check back on Wednesday to see what I decided to do and learn some tips and tricks!

Dark Lip and Simple Eye

Hiiiiii everyyyone!
As you may found out in my Fall Fashion blogpost..  I am obsessed with Fall. Not only Fall clothes, but Fall makeup IS BOMB. Everything about a dark cranberry lip I am all up, all over and around. Since I am mildly obsessed-- who am I kidding, I am totally obsessed-- I thought WHY NOT DO A TUTORIAL?!? My favorite quick out the door look lately has literally been a winged winer, bold lip and thats about it. Takes .5 seconds and you literally look like Miss Fashionista. Try it. I bet you will get a million and twenty compliments! ;) Now lets get into this...

HOW TO DO ZISSS:
- For the base (foundation, contour, blush, highlight) check out my previous post!
- I know I get repetitive but ALWAYS PRIME YO LIDS. Unless its literally going to be a waste of time and you're eyeshadow/liner will come off halfway through the day.
- Then you don't want to do anything crazy to the lids since you have that dramatic lip going on, I just swept a light brown shadow into the crease for some definition and such!
- After that, I took a white eyeshadow and put that in the tear duct and right underneath the brow to highlight and make ya look awake.
- Then I did a winged liner. Find out how I do that here! (btw-- would you like a picture or video tutorial on this? let me know in the comments!)
- Now onto the lips! I took Macs lip pencil in Night Moth and lined the lips and brought it half way down the lip so it blends with the lipstick seamlessly and then, apparently finally put some Mascara on..... Hahahhaahahha
- Lastly, I took Macs lipstick Cyber and filled in the rest! Rubbed the lips together and dadadatada! A perfect Autumn Look!

So there it is! The most simple and easy Fall Makeup!
How cute would this be with a grey cozy cardigan and some boyfriend jeans?!! UGHHH TO DIE FOR.

Let me know what other Fall Makeup Looks you want to see nextttt!
Keep your lids open for some Halloweeeeeeeeeen Tutorials 0:)

HOW TO CONTOUR LIKE A BOSS PT 2

Hiiii guuuuuys. I'm back again with a new post. But, this time not so new. I posted wayyyyyyy back when my essential makeup step which is Contouring and Highlighting. Check that out here. Since that post has blew the heck up I thought, why not do an updated one? Thats oooold news. Still check that post out though, because the technique is still the same, just the products are different. I think these products make allllllll the difference. So lets get started :)

Heres an exerpt from the 1st post---

"This is my girl Kim K... As you all know I'm obsessed but we can save that to talk about for a different day.... She has the perfect cheekbones, the tiniest nose, the best jawline....... Are you not so jealous?!? Well, I have got great news for you.. You can have it too! Noooooo I'm not talking plastic surgery.. With makeup! Its called contouring and highlighting! For all of us that weren't born with those perfect features this is for you... Contouring is when you take darker colors to create a shadow to take away the look of an imperfection you might want to cover up and you highlight the places of your face you really want to stand out! I can swear on Lolas life everyone in the magazines, red carpet anything are not so perfect-- they use this technique!"
I still think thats an amaziiiiiin explanation of contouring soooo why fix it if its not broke. Ya hurd?

What do I use?
Any matte brozer (no shimmer) two shades darker than your regular skin tone, A concelear to shades lighter than your skin tone, A setting powder, blush, highlight.

Enough talkin about it, lets be about it:
- Prime, prime, prime yo skin.
- Start out by taking your favorite foundation with a Beauty Blender all over dee faceee.
- Then, take any concealer, my favorite is Mac Prolong Wear, and do triangles under each eye, down the bridge of your nose, alittle on your forehead, your cupids bow, and your chin. Blend that in with the tip of the beauty blender.
- At this point, set everything with a powder. After all liquids are finished you always want to set it by pressing the powder into your skin. This keeps you looking matte and for the foundation/concealer to last. So, under the eyes I use Anastasia Beverly Hills powder from her contour kit in Bannana, this is a yellow based powder, so it will really brighten up your under eyes and help it from not creasing. Then, I take a translucent powder and set that all over the rest of the face.

 - Take my holy grail, NARS ITA BRUSH, dajkdjakd, with Fawn, from the contour kit, and make a fish face-- I swear I am not crazy-- go right where it sucks in to start contouring under your cheekbone. Blend that all out, then take it up your forehead, down each side of your nose, and the jawline. Dont forget to blend, blend, blend.

- Use your favorite blush.
- Highlight with any highlighter, my favorite is Stilas Kitten Duo, on the tops of your cheekbones all the way above your brow in a c-shape. Alittle on the tip of your nose, then your cupids bow, and chin. This helps really highlight the areas that the light would normally hit.
- Finish your makeup and BAM. Kim K status.

Highlighting & Contouring tips and tricks:
Say, maybe, you dont like youre forehead, its way to big, take the contour shade, and shade the top and sides of your forehead pretty low, then, highlight as little as possible. Say, youre forehead is to small, dont contour as much and really bring that highlight up.

Now girl if you got a broad nose, you need to contour that big time, you can make your nose legit look like you got plastic surgery not kidding. Maybe I should do a post all about that--- let me know in the comments if youre interested-- But, if you have a broader nose, take the contour shade and make two lines very slim and narrow then highlight a very thin line down the nose and blenddddd.. This will mimic a tiny nose.

If you have a double chin, like I think I do sometimes, contour your jawline and bring it down this will make a shadow that will kick that double chin right in the behind.

I hope this helped everyone! Ill be back in a few days with a Fall Makeup Tutorial! Keep on the lookoutttt 0 o

I hope this helps someone......

I'm not sure exactly what I am going to call this post but, I thought I would get out of my beauty, fashion, posts for a day and talk about something really personal for me which is Anxiety. Normally I would never post anything like this, but, for a long time I had no idea what I was going through, thought I was so weird, didn't know what was going on, so, finally I got to thinking... Many of you might be going through the same thing that I am right now, and maybe, I can help you guys who may have anxiety or my friends and family understand it a little bit more...

Ive had social anxiety since I graduated high school I would say. So about 5 years. But just in the past few years has it got intense. I would hope that this post helps people who struggle with it understand that you're not alone, need advice or someone else to understand! I really think that makes all the difference!

HOW ANXIETY IS FOR ME:

Anxiety is different for every single person. Not one persons anxiety is the same as someone else's thats why its so hard to understand. It took me a long time to understand that anxiety is 100% normal. Loads of people have it. You just have to figure out what works to get through it for you. I still am trying to figure this out. I get anxiety a lot with a load of people or people I don't know. I don't like to be in malls, schools, anything like that, even family parties. Its ridiculous like the closest people to me I don't feel comfortable around anymore. I get anxiety at work doing hair and even at the doctors office. I get anxiety when fighting with people, or even telling people how I feel if I am upset. I really only feel comfortable to talk to one person and it ruined our relationship because I would never say what I wanted to ever to anyone else, and just go home and complain to my boyfriend at the time and complain and cry and cry. But nothing he could do could help. Its so crazy. How hard is it to say that something someones doing is bothering you? It scares me lol. I get very overwhelmed very easily.
My mom would always say that I don't have anxiety, its just self-esteem issues. But its the total opposite. I had self esteem issues because of my anxiety. Its so confusing. I just don't like to be around people I don't know, even people I do know a lot of the time, like I said, I just don't feel comfortable. I feel like I'm being judged when no ones judging me. For a long time, I would put down every thing in my life with my friends, family, jobs, that I would want to do more than anything, its not that I didn't even want to, just because, I was scared I would get anxiety. Its just a scary thing to feel. It can't be controlled and it comes out of literally nowhere. There are total different types of anxiety to being nervous for a wedding to just being nervous for a test. Everyone has anxiety its just in different aspects in life and different people tolerate it different ways. Extremely high anxiety, in my case, can lead to panic attacks. Which is the scariest thing in the entire world for me.

WHAT IS A PANIC ATTACK/WHAT HAPPENS?:

When I get panic attacks they are two complete extremes. Either I am in bed, and I feel like someone is sitting on my chest, I can't breathe, I get crazy lightening bolt feeling chest pains, when this happens it comes out of nowhere. OR I can't breathe, I can't talk, I shake, my whole body goes numb, I don't understand people who are talking to me, cold sweats, shivers, ringing in my ears, feeling smothered, everything spins. It is literally the scariest thing in the entire world.

What helps me with my panic attacks or anxiety in general, is just getting out of the situation and breathing. Deep breaths, and try not to think about anything. This may sound crazy. Just take the whole situation out of your head the best that you can and count. Count until it stops. You could be counting to 1,876. But I bet you it stops. Put your head between your knees and just breathe it out.

CLOSURE:

The best thing I can do, is to just say yes. Honestly, just put my self out there. Its the absolute hardest thing for me and Im still trying to work it out. But, do things that scare you. The more you do it, the less it will scare you. I promise you! For me, I don't get much anxiety if I am driving to a place. That way if I want to leave I can leave. Its crazy, I just feel claustrophobic if I can't leave somewhere when I want to. I think everyone has their own ways of dealing with it. But like I said, this is mine. Its harder than it looks I know. But take things little by little. Im trying to this day to push through it. Why let anxiety get in the way of your life? Why let it get in the way of you being happy, meeting new people, having new relationships/jobs?!

If you're suffering from anxiety just know that you are not alone! Panic attacks, are scary, but believe me girlfriend, they won't kill you. You can work through them! Don't let anxiety put a damper on your self esteem or life. You are amazing and you can stop them! If someone you know, or are close with doesn't understand your anxiety, just honestly, kick them to the curb! Not literally but don't let it upset you. Only you understands what you are going through! Like, I said leave comments, message me on social media, email me, I AM HERE FOR YOU!

I HAVE AN ADDICTION..... CAN YOU HELP?

I'm scared when I type this it will magically become Winter because thats how NY is but...
I LOVE FALL. Everything about fall.
I was creepin' on Pinterest, again. Ok, every night... And found this.

and just got wayyyyyyyyy to excited for Fall.
I know I cannot be the only one. Fall is where it is at. Its not to cold, not to warm. But puuurfect.
AND-- for an even bigger plus, fall fashion and makeup is the best. Nothing can get any better.
So, while Fall is coming out of nowhere, so hasn't every single online store and Pinterest (f pinterest) begging me to buy cardigans and scarfs and honestly, I'm not holdin back. I am aaalll aaabouuut itttt. I thought I would share my creepy online habits with you since, Im sure you like clothes too right?!?

Ok, I thought so. Lets get on with this, we've got a lot to get through.

So sure, rompers are for Summer and Spring, but I am still obsessed so why not bring it in to Fall? This romper from Forever 21 hits so many soft spots for me. First, its black soooooo duh I like it. Second, how easy is it to throw something over your head? Easy. Lazy. You kno me. This romper would be super cute with black opaque tights with some black knitted over the knee socks and some booties. Say I'm wrong. You won't.

Cardigans, ahhh. My loves. I think the cuttessstttttt style right now is huge chunky cardigans like this one again from Forever 21 (I want every single color in my closet right now) and dainty tanks. This one from ASOS is exactly what I am talking about. Its just so easy and effortless (and you're as snug as a bug in a rug) but, you look fashionable. I love it and I just can't get enough..

I LOVE BOYFRIEND JEANS. Maybe its because, OK I GET IT I DONT HAVE A BOYFRIEND RUB IT IN. But, really, I love those jeans. You might think I am nuts but I love em. With this top from ASOS. Love. And you get two for 30. Thats a bargain.

Another jean I've been loving are jeggings. High waisted jeggings as a matter of fact! These. $15.80. Thats all I have to say. I am in love. I love them. I love everything about them. I would like every single color. I love them. I love them a lot. Also, I think I said this in my last Fall post last year, idc, Ill say it again, leather pants. I am obsessed. These pants would go perfect with anything. Literally everything you can dress them up with a fancy shirt like the pic, or where the shirts from ASOS that i just was talking about. You will look so trendy either way without trying.

Guys, don't laugh at me, because I get it where would I, Emily Augustine, wear this? But, I love it so I had to include it. This is everything. With a black leather jacket and some tights not sure what shoes at this exact moment, but Id figure it out. I love it. I need somewhere to wear it. Would anyone like to give me some fancy plans?

Monday Must Haves!

Monday morning, rain is fallin'.
Steal some covers, share some skin.

Or in my case, I wish, Netflix.
Today is a gloomy day in New York and the last thing I wanted to be doing was.... Working.
But, ya know, money is cool and all. But so isnt Netflix and Heluva Good.
I hate Mondays.. and the rain...... and the cold..... and working.....
So, I got to thinkin' what would be better on this crappy day then to make a post about my Monday MUST Haves! These are going to be my must haves from Beauty to Books to Movies to anything I really feel like.
Ya picking up what im putting down?!?

My first must have is, Mac Angel! It is like theeee perfect lipstick.. Not kidding. If you love a good pinky nude (which ya should) this is for you. I wear it legitametly probabaly everyday. I just switch out the glosses or layer lipsticks on top and it transforms to anything. It always looks different. But, even on its own its the best.net.

Second has been my Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Palette!
UGHHHHHHHHHHHH TO DIE FOR. If you dont contour, actually don't have this palette, I feel bad for you. So, its $40 for 6 different shades, 3 bronzers, 3 highlights.. In all honesty that is an amazing price. It gives you the exact look all the celebs are doing but at home! I could never get that yellow under eye Kim K has going on until I got this. You need it in your life. BTW-- Would you guys like to see an updated Contour tutorial?!?! Let me know in the commments!

THIS BOOK!
#GirlBoss is my life. Written in a book. Except I was never homeless, or stole books and put them on Ebay. But other than that the writter, Sofia, Owner of NastyGal, is my alter ego.. It is such a fun book but really kicks your ass to get you moving in life. It made me reevaluate alot of things. But mostly that I just want to be her. This would be in my pic, but this one broad is borrowing it. (Youre welcome, Sam)

My Lorac Pro2 Palette. I cannot even put into words my love for the first. But, now the second?!? It is all the shadows I would wear everyday put into a palette. The clouds spread, a Will Ferrell type of god came down (If you havent seen the movie Superstar, I hate you) and said 'Here you are Emily, youre welcome.' Nectar and Cool Grey, I literally use every single day. Again, I know you all think I am crazy spending $42 on makeup but listen, there is 16 shades. 16 perfect shades. Lets say you are in rite aid, you seen an eyeshadow you love and its $5! Im sure most of you think thats a steal. But, even lets say its $3. If you buy 16 of them first of all, you will never get the use out of it like this palette, it will be chalky, it wont look as good, stay as long, etc. And 16 or $5 is $80. 16 for $3 is $48. Youre welcome:)

I cant find my exact ones on the website but these will work. They are sooo similar to mine just a bit different. I was about to say UGH again, but I will refrain. They are so comfy but so cute. Who can say anymore?! And not even that, but they go with everything!

Ardell False Lashes are my makeup weapon of choice. If you are feelin bad about yourself on some off day, maybe even today with this depressing rain, pop on these lashes no joke. You will feel like theeee boss. Not just a boss, but theeeeee definition of theeee boss. Your makeup just will look so much better like you tried so much harder. When ya really didnt. The demi-whispies are my favoriteeeee!

Last, but not least, is my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in radiant magenta. You legit cannot live without this. It makes you look like your lit from within. Like, HELLLOOOOOO, who doesnt want that?!!? I know I do...

What are your Monday Favorites?!?
But, more importantly, what are you doing on this sad, Monday?
Maybe a trip to Sephora would help your Monday Blues with all of these cool new recommendations!
Or just go home, eat some Lemonheads and watch Gossip Girl.
Whatever you doing, have a good day guys-- Talk to you Soon :)

No Heat For The Week-- For my Curl Gurrrrrlz #noheatsummer

Hi Guys! Im back with my #noheatsummer series but this time for my Curl Gurlz!
So you might have read my No Heat for the Week, but I got some complaints that you can't do those styles with curly hair. But I DIGRESS! (sp?) All of those styles would be great on curly hair.. Maybe even better to be honest. I feel like all boring pony tails just look so amazing with curls. It could be just because 'you always want what you don't have'. But, I am alllllllll about curly hair. Ok, lets get real I'm just ALLLLLL about any hair. Either way tho, curls rock.

So since I said, I am not a braider.. I thought I would go out of my comfort zone and try somethin' new. I am human. I do stink at things--- Actually stink at a lot of things. But, I'm tryin!

First, this is just a simple 'do. It kinda reminds me of Arianna Grande. I think this is perfect for curly hair girls because the front pieces are always crazy. This is a great way to get them out of your face for the day! I parted the hair, then took about an inch and a half on each side, combed it back and secured it with a tiny elastic under the hair. Its hidden and none knows its even there. And your hair isn't in your face. WIIIIN!

Next is this Dutch Braid. This is so simple its not even funny. I first parted the hair in the middle into two pigtails and started braiding each side. Then, I brought one pony over the top of the head to the opposite ear and secured with bobby pins and did the same to the opposite side. To make the look not look so put together, I pulled out pieces of the braid to make the braid bigger and pulled pieces out around the face. Saaaaa cute, I can't get enuf.

The 3rd style is a regular pony. We put it right on top of the head secured with a ponytail. Then took a piece of the pony wrapped it around the base and bobby pinned it down. Then pulled the top of the pony to make it bigger. Again, take pieces out around your face and BAM a cute pony:)

This might look like an average top knot. BUT ITS NOT! Duh, duh, duh, duhhhhhhhh! First, we took the same steps as the before style and brought all of the hair to the top of the head and secured with a ponytail. Then, we started braiding the pony. Twist it around the base, secure it with another pony. To finish it off pull on pieces of the braid to make it look a little messier/bigger and pieces around your face! Now you're differeeeeent.

The last style is supppperrrr easy. Just start braiding your hair where the thickest side of your part is then bring it over to the other side of your head and pin it. Hide the pin with hair! Again, this is great to get the hair out of your face for the day!

Everyday Summer Makeup!

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii everyone!
Just as much as I hate doing my hair in this heat-- I hate caking on makeup.
It just gets way to sweaty and hot with tons of makeup on during the day. Most days I honestly usually just say F makeup. Because aint nobody want to have on a full face of makeup on at the pool, or just in general with this heat. I know you all are probably thinking, "You're from New York, it could be worse." But listen, it's hot for me. Especially because it's been hot AND rainy lately. Muggy is the best weather for  a perfect contour and extravagant smokey eye. The things I would rather do.... Some days though I do want to look somewhat done up and put together, so I put together an everyday makeup look! I hope you love it!

...

First, you always want to moisturize and use SPF. This is a must!

Then, I used Mac Face and Body.. This is perfect for Summer! It is sooooo thin, but can be built up to medium or full coverage for night. Buff this all over the skin. I wouldn't use a beauty blender with this foundation because its water based! My favorite thing about this foundation is you don't feel it. Ever.

For Bronzer, I stuck with a mousse, rather than a powder. I used Soleil Tan De Chanel. This really just gives you that bronze look without feeling like you have tons on your face.

After your done with all your liquids, set everything. This is a huge step for Summer unless your makeup is going to run down your face and you are going to look like the greasiest of all the balls.

For blush, I used Macs Melba and for highlight Soft & Gentle. I like Melba because it is so natural and the highlighter looks so natural! Put this right above your cheekbone and sweep above right where your arch of your brow is. AND BAM! You will look like a bronze, dewy goodess. Because who doesn't want that?!

To open your eyes a bit, take a nude eyeliner in your waterline and a white shimmery color right in your tear ducts. This will make you look wide awake even if you were out all night! Then, apply mascara to your top and bottom lashes.

To finish the look off, I used Mac Lipglass in Razzle Dazzler, first because who doesn't love a peach lip for Summer and second because cmon Razzle Dazzler. I think I would use it for the name even if it was brown. Its just so catchy!

And thats your finished makeup look! Perfect for Everyday and sooooooo beautiful!
Let me know what your favorite makeup for Summer is in the comments..
Sorry if these products were a little pricy-- BUT look out for a more budget friendly Summer Nightlook coming so soon!
