Snowy Christmas

I created this Snowy Scene card by starting with an image from the Christmas Snow Globe Kit. Perfect for Snowglobes, yet still versatile enough to create a card that has some dimension, but doesn't pose a problem with mailing!

As you can see, the kit allows for a lot of additional layers so that you can have added dimension in your card! Some Polar White Flower Soft, with just a Touch of Silver, finished off the winter scene quite nicely!

Have a great day!

I like my wine!

I wanted share a cute little card I made with the Wine Buffs kit and the Wine Cook Stamp Set
I coloured my image with my Touch Twin Markers and used a Circular Nestabilitie to cut out the woodgrained circle. Don't you love that fun DP? It comes in the paper crafting kit

A wee sprinkle of Polar White Flower Soft to the Cooks Chest, finishes the card off nicely I think!

Happy Stamping~

Bright and Cheery!

I've been having such fun playing with the new ultrafine  and diamond range colours. For this card, I used the ultrafine white on the sweet elves hats and the amethyst to create a fun border

Have you all got started on your Christmas cards yet???

Soft and Downy! The new Ultrafine White is AMAZING!!!

Just a quick share with you to show one of the newest additions to the Flower Soft Family-Ultrafine White. This ultrafine is just so soft and downy! Perfect for lots of embellishing.......... it reminds of of the soft fluffy dry snow that you get on a very cool day, as opposed to the icy crystally snow, which the Polar White emulates!!! In any case, both Polar and Ultrasoft White are totally perfect for your Wintery scenes!!!!

Wedding Elegance

I was asked to create a wedding card for a friend. Using the Wildflower Die Cut Dimensions made this task quite simple.  I coupled the Die Cut Dimension elements along with Graphic 45, Once Upon a Springtime Collection Designer Paper.

I decided to decorate the interior of the card as well. Soft Sponging to the edges of the paper and to the flowers in the inside of the card add softness!!!!

Have a fabulous week!

Nice and Neutral!

I wanted to share my Stitching Challenge Card with you today. Unfortunately , my Sewing Machine went on the fritz and SO, I had to stitch without thread............ I also wanted to show you how you can simply use a FS topper, without and additional colour or product to complete a simple but elegant card. This topper can be found in the Charlies Ark Hearts and Flowers Collection

These toppers are also quite pretty with some subtle colouring or Flower Soft accents.

Happy Stamping!

Go fly a Kite

Happy Monday!!! My apologies for not posting much in the last few weeks, but i'm catching up and have a fun share for you today! I am a huge fan of Flowersofts' Moments in Time Stamps. The images are so sweet and lovely for colouring. I coloured The Kite stamp with my Copic Markers adding some sponging for the sky, white gel pen for highlights and of course some Meadow for dimension.

For the sentiment, I separated the sentiment from the small kite and mounted it to the side of the image! Fun card for a fun boy! The DP from the Playtime Stack from DCWV worked perfectly with the Garden Green background.

Hope you have a wonderful week and I'll catch you next week with more fun products from Flowersoft

A Touch of Colour

to the Sepia Toppers, just make the POP!!!! I adore these sweet toppers, whether you leave them plain or dressed up, they look great!!!! This little fellow is from the Hearts and Flowers Sepia Toppers

In addition to colouring only the Tulip and the Stem, I added a touch of glitter to the edges of the Tulip and to the wee heart on the envelope on the main image. Designer Paper is from K&CO. I really like how it matches the Tulip image. Flower is from CTMH.

Have a wonderful week and I'll see you back here next Monday with a new idea!

Flowersoft Country-Village Cottages

Another Quick and Easy Card for you today. I just love the Flowersoft Card Toppers. You can create fun cards so quickly with these fun toppers.

For this card, I used the Flowersoft-Country-Village Cottage Toppers. I did cut it down a bit to match the sketch I used for the card and I inked the edges with some caramel ink to soften them down a bit. DP is from Basic Grey and For the Flowersoft accent, I used Marigold and Spring Mix.

See you next week with more Flowersoft creations!

Way too sweet eh??? I adore the Sepia toppers and the endless creative possibilities that you have to use them as is or to dress them up a little.

I added a we bit of subtle colour on my card using my Prism Pencils. A dash of Flower Soft Peony Pink to the little flower adds dimension along with the small pearl in the centre of the flower! You'll just love working with these toppers to create fabulous projects in the wink of an eye!

Are you almost ready for Christmas? If so, I commend you! I'm still not even out of the start block, having maybe two gifts purchased and absolutely NO sweets made! My mother is the Cookie Artisan and I have to tell you that in the last week, she's already got dozens and dozens made. It is perplexing to me, how she manages to make her cookies perfectly uniform in size and shape, with each and every cookie looking like it was made in a cookie factory! Sooo that being said, I steer away from Cookie baking and am left with the task of making the Candy! I always make a gorgeous Brown Sugar Fudge, along with Chocolate Pecan Fudge, Skor Bars, Almond, Peppermint and Cranberry Bark, Chocolate Peanut Crunchies (those fabulous cookies that you make my dipping Chow Mein Noodles and Peanuts in Chocolate!) , Buckeyes and this year I may try to make some Butter cream Balls! I do have the house decorated and tidy, so that's a bonus. Additionally I've only managed to create about 30 Christmas Cards this year, so I'll be finishing up the additional cards this week so that I can get them mailed out.

Speaking of Christmas Cards, isn't this Jolly Elf the sweetest? I thought he'd be perfect to sit on a bed of Polar White Flower Soft Snow!

If you've followed my blog over the years, you'll know that I am a fan of creating snowy scenes....I would say that the Polar White Flower Soft is my absolute fave!!! It just gives that extra bit of WOW! to your creations!

Hope you have a great week!
