Just a little reminder that Flower Soft is sponsoring Bugaboo's weekly challenge, so if you'd like a chance to win some fluffy stuff, head over there to see what's up!Here's one of the cards I made for the Bugaboo challenge - I colored the image with Touch Twin Markers, sponged the card panel, and added some stamped leaves and rhinestones to the design. I used Neon Yellow Ultrafine Flower Soft on the flowers - sort of subtle but it really does 'pop' and add a fun dimension to the card.
Head over to the Bugaboo Blog for more digis, more samples, more info, and a chance to win! Also, if you're interested in Bugaboo's digital stamps, grab a few at 50% off - that sale lasts only until May 31st!

Grows with Love
This week's Sprinkle challenge over at the Flower Soft Forum (FSC29) is to use Flower Soft on cards that feature ovals. We'd love to have you join us, wherever that theme takes your imagination! I sort of missed the last challenge to make a frilly feminine card (FSC28), so I combined the two challenges.I watercolored this stamp called Grows with Love using reinkers, then cut out the image using an oval cutting template. I added dimension to the stamped piece by adding Flower Soft (Ultrafine Sage, Ultrafine Raspberry Fizz, Baby Pink); I also cut along the bottom of the dress and around the sleeve and bow, embossed from behind, then popped up those areas with foam tape.
Maybe you can see the cut and raised areas in this photo....
If you'd like to join in on the challenge, pull out the Flower Soft - you might even win a prize! Post your project in the Splitcoast Gallery by using the keywords flowersoft (one word) and FSC29. If your project is also Spring-themed, you can add the keyword FLOWERSOFTSPRING for another chance to win some great prizes. We'd love to have you join us!

Go fly a Kite
Happy Monday!!! My apologies for not posting much in the last few weeks, but i'm catching up and have a fun share for you today! I am a huge fan of Flowersofts' Moments in Time Stamps. The images are so sweet and lovely for colouring. I coloured The Kite stamp with my Copic Markers adding some sponging for the sky, white gel pen for highlights and of course some Meadow for dimension.
For the sentiment, I separated the sentiment from the small kite and mounted it to the side of the image! Fun card for a fun boy! The DP from the Playtime Stack from DCWV worked perfectly with the Garden Green background.
Hope you have a wonderful week and I'll catch you next week with more fun products from Flowersoft

Golden treasure
I swiped this stamp from my son months ago with the idea of using Gold Flower Soft as treasure in the treasure chest. A challenge at Splitcoaststampers gave me the perfect opportunity to use it, and I made this treasure tag. I love the rich chunkiness of the gold! Stamp credits:

Treasure Chest - Cornish Heritage Farms

One Layer Window card
I submitted a few cards to Vamp Stamp News a couple months ago -- this was one that didn't make the magazine, but they have added to their theme gallery for the month of May. I'm a little sad it didn't make it into the magazine... it was my favorite! This stamp image (I Love You) is from the Charlie's Ark line, and I watercolored it with reinkers. There's glitter pen on the heart, and Polar White Flower Soft in the corners of the panes. The sentiment is from Penny Black and the card is diecut with Spellbinders Labels 8.

Flower Soft and the Card Positioning Systems sketch
All of this last week, Flower Soft has been the sponsor at Card Positioning Systems blog.
Here is my card using the sketch and some really fun Flower Soft products.
Here is a close up of this adorable Pot Pals Charlie's Ark Sepia Topper. These toppers come with two designs in one package and in shades of Sepia. What is really neat about these is that the paper just seems to be made to be used with Copic markers. You don't have to accent the image with additional color but it is fun to add subtle accents. I also added some Baby Peach Flower Soft to the peach bow and Sunshine Yellow to the middle of the Daisy.
Thanks for visiting, Linda Beeson, Design Team member

You Are Beautiful...
Flower Soft is sponsoring this week's sketch (#216) over at Card Positioning Systems - here's the sketch, and my card. I used the Die Cut Dimensions Wildflowers kit for my main panel, adding dimension by embossing it with a stylus from the back, and adding a few extra flowers to the scene. I used Polar White, Koala Grey, and Black Flower Soft in the flower centers. The sentiment stamps are from For the Luv of Art, a sweet little set called "La Mode." I colored the pearls to match with a Touch Twin Marker.
If you'd like to play along with the sketch challenge for a chance to win a prize from Flower Soft, remember to post a link over at the challenge post at Card Positioning Systems!
