After listening to this album a couple times, it's still a pretty good collection of parodies. Most of the short skits mixed in are also funny even if they do interrupt the music. Most of the songs would be safe around kids, but a few tracks might need to be removed due to sexual content.

Bob Rivers is in top form here plying his satire-ridden stocking-stuffer trade, serving up note-per-note knockoffs of everyone from Led Zeppelin and the B52s to Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, and Tchaikovsky, among others. No lazy satirists, Rivers and company deliver not only grand musical copies but clever and witty lyrics that slum on the gutter side only occasionally ("Buttcracker Suite" being the biggest offender). The rest of the time it's good-natured stuff even ol' Scrooge could like. "It's the Most Fattening Time of the Year" apes Johnny Mathis, "Sled Zeppelin" nails the Plant-Page matrix, and the Beatles' rips, "Jesus' Birthday" and "All You Need Is Elves," also highlight the 13 tracks. But the most inspired cuts are a big-band swing version of the Rolling Stones' "Get off My Cloud" (here retitled "Hey You! Get Off My House") and Hendrix's "Purple Haze," knowingly recast as "Holidaze (Scuze Me, I've Got Gifts to Buy)." If that one doesn't grab yer funny bone, it may be time for that humor-marrow transplant.
The title might be immodest, but it's accurate. Just about every holiday song parody and comedy sketch you can imagine is jimmied onto this hilarious, sprawling collection. While you'll find a smattering of well-known Christmas wackiness (including "Grandma Got Run over by a Reindeer" and the Singing Dogs' "Jingle Bells"), the Doctor's specialty is unearthing the obscure, such as Wild Man Fischer's weirder-than-weird "I Am a Christmas Tree." You'll never listen to "The 12 Days of Christmas" quite the same way after hearing the spins put on the tale by both Allan Sherman and Bob and Doug McKenzie, and you're likely to check your Christmas cookie for "special ingredients" after hearing Cheech & Chong's "Santa Claus and His Old Lady."
