Psalm 91 (NKJV)
Safety of Abiding in the Presence of God

1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”

3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.

4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,

6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.

8 Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,

10 No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;

11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.

12 In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.

13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.

15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”

Can't Hide Myself Anymore...

Seriously...
I don't feel the same anymore.
Today I found out that someone very close to me backslided.
Its so sudden.

Then about my ex cell group. I just can't let go.
It's like its very simple for other Christians to say to me, "believe in God" or "I'll pray with u/for u" but if you experience what I experienced... Haiz...

Then SJAB.
I can't take it le.
Just wanna commit suicide.
I have enough of Ms Ross and Ms Yip giving me stress everyday.
I have enough of being their "dog", running up and down.
I have enough of letting people vent their anger on me, be it NCOs or officers.
I have enough of officers insulting me.
I have enough!

I AM NOT COMING FOR TOMORROW'S TRAINING.
ITS FINAL.
YOU ALL CAN STRESS ME ALL U WANT
I DUN CARE... THE MOST I COMMIT SUICIDE IN FRONT OF YOU ALL U ALL WAN?

Carrier of God's Presence

To have the presence of God in your life.
Awesome. Powerful.
People around you will know that there's something different about you.

Like one of the role models in my life, he really changed me.
Strong spiritual leadership in both school and life.
He can influence and impact easily.

So let's connect with God.

Praise to a New Level

Festival of Praise and CHC's 16th Anniversary celebrations was simply awesome!

Hillsong and Delirious? were led praise and worship in Festival of Praise. Went for all 3 nights. Woo!
The songs sung by Hillsong consisted of many new songs from their albums God He Reigns and Look To You.
On the whole, it really looked like something from Unified:Praise (a combined praise and worship recording by Hillsong and Delirious? in Australia).
Especially the "I want you to take your neighbours hands and jump in the air on the count of 3." part. Haha.
However, it was disappointing in a sense too. Many people left halfway. I was in the balcony seat and I could see that there were less than 15 people left. Haiz... just felt that they had no respect for the presence of God. Anyway, we cant control people's actions. The Bible says, in the last days, Christ will vomit out these kind of Christians out of His Body.

CHC's 16 anniversary celebrations was also great. Shall update on that soon as well as the launch of CROSS.

1 Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!
2 Serve the LORD with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.
3 Know that the LORD, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
5 For the LORD is good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations.

Awesome God

Sometimes I wonder why do I need to experience breakdowns or mood swings.
Last week during SJAB training, no doubt I broke down.
The amount of stress piling up on me and also having to see my cadets suffer.
Just felt so bad.
Thanks to God's angels at that time, Connie and Maggie,
whom I really had a heart-to-heart talk with.
I then had a heart-to-heart talk with all the cadets, chasing the other ICs and OCs out.
Shao Cheng sorta spoilt my original plan but its still ok.
They got a fuller understanding and I believe that SJAB will change. Yup...

Truly things change if you look at them another way.
How awesome is God but how stupid I am not to realise it, to take His greatness for granted.
I realised that God planned everything for me.
Yup, I know that I have no cell group now. But so what? I have Him.
That is what matters. God.
