Hometown Greeting Wedding Chapel Card

Last weekend one of my lovely Stampers got married and as soon as I saw the Hometown Greetings Edgelits Dies I knew I wanted to use the lovely church as the center piece for her wedding card - it is just so adorable.

I have used the gorgeous Shimmery White Card Stock and paired it with the gorgeous Champagne Foil Sheets.  Check out that stunning shine!

Check out all the texture on the card - the embossed layer showing the wonderful card stock and church even better.

I have used Perfect Plum for the greeting to mirror the bride's colours.  These Edgelits may be designed for Christmas Cards - and will be brilliant for them - but that is not all they are fantastic for!

Colourful Season Cherry Blossom Card

I don't know about you but I love when the blossoms appear on the trees as we go into early summer (and yes I am hopeful that the beautiful weather will be back for good soon!) I love how pretty the flowers are against the sky and as soon as I saw the Colourful Season Suite I knew I wanted to try and recreate it.

I used the Shimmery White Card Stock for the background which is a watercolour mix with Pool Party and Marina Mist Inks.  The shimmer comes through the colour giving a very pretty effect.  

The flowers were cut using the matching fies and then lightly coloured with Blushing Bride and a little bit of Berry Burst before the Blushing Bride dried fully.

And the lovely greeting on the card makes it suitable for any occasion, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, new babies and even just because cards.

Wedding Anniversary Card Made Using Stampin' Up! UK Supplies

Recently some very lovely friends of mine celebrated a very special wedding anniversary and today I thought I would share the card I sent.

Since 25 years is a silver anniversary choosing what colour to make the sparkly numbers was easy!  

The Irresistably Floral papers were inked with a combination of Pool Party, Island Indigo and Watermelon Wonder (which looks very different when applied over the blue tones) to reveal the beautiful pattern on the paper.

The Celebrate Greeting is from the My Hero Stamp Set, which I keep finding myself reaching for.  This charity stamp set has 12 images for all occasions and is a great addition to any collection - and Stampin' Up! make a donation each time one is purchased so you can feel great about that too!
