Today is CNY Eve...The whole family went to give prayers to my grandparents in the morning. Met Waner and finally took the CHRISTMAS presents from her. haha..Yes it has been so long and the presents have been "sitting" in her house until all the cobwebs have gathered.

My sis also likes her aroma thingy cos that one she dun have to burn and it's more convenient and neater too.

Have been doing spring cleaning yesterday and now my room seems revamped! Very airy and clean and neat! All thanks to my baby too..hehe..he is really of great help!
I threw away my old PC and he brought back the LCD monitor which he brought from his house last time. Now I am just using his laptop and my table top is soooo clean~~ Happy~~ my Radio set has been shifted from the end of my bed to this table as well.
We had wanted to just throw away the old pc and speaker but was thinking MAYBE we should just ask whether my dad wants anything....AND THAT IS A WRONG MOVE!

He kept all the things in the end and even cleared another space in the dining area to put. Sigh..we though he could clear away all the things there.
This afternoon he shouted for me TWICe and I thought what's the matter. He was asking me where is the screw for the speaker. Actually the screw was there just to hold the speaker in place, the speaker's height is movable. I duno how to describe it here..but well..ya~
I threw it away long time ago because it was loose and spoilt already, it couldn't be fixed. so everytime I knocked onto the speaker, the screw would come loose and roll around on the floor. It is very frustrating so I threw it away, even without it, the speaker can still adjust and stand! So I don't see a problem in that!

He was arguing with me..saying why am I like my mum, throwing away things like that? WTH~~~ when I explained to him that it was spoilt already and even without it, it was still working all right~! Then he said "And u just throw away la?"...of course la!!!argghh!! He said the manufacturer made those things and I just threw it away? It's together with the speaker..blah blah blah..~~~ It was thrown away already, what can I do now right?!~?!? was so angry...my sis was even trying to appease the whole matter but she was "fired" too..haha! then my mum "saved" us by asking us to go downstairs to buy soya sauce for her. Hmmph~~ My dad is sooo stubborn..and like garang guni..keeping all the spoilt and old stuff!

Mum is preparing for our reunion dinner tonight. This year we are not eating steamboat but she prepared 盆菜 & pig's intestine soup. There's also some duck and chicken. I was helping her to prepare the prawns just now and I was so grossed out when she asked me to cut away the eyes part and pick out the intestines. Haha but in the end still managed to do it although I was screaming at the beginning.

Yea~ Waner will be coming to sleepover tonight and we'll be going to Ann's house tomorrow morning. Should be staying until evening time before going to Kun's relatives' side, which is at Kembangan! So damn far right???
Too bad la, cos his granny is staying there for the time-being because of her injured hand.

This year's chinese new year is a bit short I feel. Although I am still off on Wednesday, but my sis and dad and the rest also need to work on that day (except for my mum). I will also be going to kun's house for steamboat that day. Thinking whether will be going to visit my boss at YCK. Haiz...
I think he didnt ask this year so we should go..haha maybe he is saving his angpow money!

Our pay was almost not banked in before cny~ he was the one who told me that he wanna give the staff the money before cny. Wed I prepared all the cheques and passed to him. Thur we had to bank in before 3.30pm by hook or by crook, so I asked him around 11am whether he was reviewed and signed the cheques. He told me that he would like to budget it for one more day, so will be giving out only on FRIDAY!!!! OMG~~
When I told him that by the time we bank in on fri or even after 330pm on thurs, we will be receiving it on 28th, which is already after CNY~! He didnt understand me and still told me that we will get it on SAT! I told him it is now 5Day clearing, so weekend not counted. He said he thought it's ONE day clearing, so fri bank in will get on SAT!Argghgh~~~

Finally he understood and he agreed with me, but the way he said it was as if he was already saying it correctly from the start! So frustrating to talk to him. Finally he took out all the cheques and sign. If he want to budget it, it doesn't make sense too!!! He should have budgeted everything months ago or at least from the time he cut our salary right? so weird~~
What is the difference by budgeting it ONE more day when u know u have to give it to us?

The other colleague is another "problem". He was telling me he need to take a course and asked me to check the SDF and SRP subsidies for him. When I found out that he is planning to take FIRST AID TRAINING COURSE, I asked him why this course and he said he was thinking whether can help the company to save cost and also good to have someone in the office to be trained in first aid. SOMEONE IN THE OFFICE is what he mentioned, but I realised he is RARELY in the OFFICE~!!!
WHAT A JOKE! Is he going to MSN us or call us when there is some emergency going on in the office?

How long will this ecomomic crisis last? This is a question that everyone in the working society is asking. Well..everyone except for Teachers and Nurses I guess.
Sigh.. I am always sighing at work these few weeks. Have been kinda dragging my feet to work everyday and waiting for the day to come to an end.

Desmond gave me his resignation letter today. Although I am not shocked or surprised and usually he has been quite irritating, but I still feel kinda sad that he is leaving us. He had also in some ways brought some happiness and fun times during his employment. Without him, life in SP might even be more boring!

Tomorrow will be his last day with SP and he's only working half day. After that, office will always be left with 3 people including the boss. I wonder how long me and WK can last. We have been pouring out our sorrows to each other everyday & giving company to each other. poor us...

I was planning to really go into serious job searching after the CNY but it is also a dilemma to me becuz SP still has alot of plans and boss hopes that we can survive and pull through together with them. Both me and WK will feel that we let them down or are being disloyal to them.
Let's see hw it goes after the meeting of the new business they want to discuss tomorrow.

Went to watch the musical "Cinderella" last night at the Esplanade.
It was a very nice musical! Lea Salonga really sang v v well. Her voice is so crystal clear and the stage and backdrop were all very "princess-like" and magical, especially when the pumpkin changed into the carraige and when cinderella's ragged clothes changed into the beautiful gown! All of us still dunno how she managed to change the gown, the hairdo and the makeup, shoes and earrings soooo quickly!!!!
She really just walked one round around the carraige and by the time she walked out from the other side, those things were already changed! It's like magic lor..

However, we didnt think she was Lea Salonga at first becuz she looked so petite and a little chubby on stage. Looks like a small kid from afar and the prince was too tall for her.

The show is nice la..the fairy godmother is damn funny also. hehe~ u guys should go and watch it!

Hmm...So bored..next week is already CNY. This year's CNY nothing exciting to look forward to. Only 2 days to gather with everyone, I think there's not enough time.

Gotta go jogging at 10pm with baby later...ciaoz..!

It took me almost one month to write my first entry of the year 2009...and with a blink of an eye, CHINESE NEW YEAR is around the corner!
As usual I am looking forward to CNY but it's just because I can doll up myself and gather with friends and relatives. The ang pow money will surely be lesser this year due to the recession and the "trend". CNY this year is not as festive as the previous years because of this stupid recession.

Boss announced the paycut last week and it is effective this month onwards. I really think he announced it at the wrong timing because everyone will not have the mood to go through CNY. Furthermore, he is back-dating the effective date from 1st Jan instead of making it start from the following month.

The atmosphere in the office has been very dreadful for me. SILENCE....all the LAMENESS...I cannot stand my boss sometimes because of him being too detailed on everything. Everything you say, everything you do, every expression on your face and so on. I am so tired to response and sometimes when I cannot take it, I will somehow "shoot" them back in a bad tone.

I dislike being the only girl in the office, especially now that we are working in a shophouse and sharing one toilet. I already encountered twice when someone did not flush after using! There's even a drop of urine on the floor...so Gross!
Being the only girl and youngest person in the office, boss always talks to me like I am a very small girl. It is IRRITATING!

Business has been badly affected. No sales for almost 6 months.
I do not know how long we can survive. I am starting to lose faith and hope in this company. On the other hand, I feel that I should continue to support and help the boss to pull through the tough times. After which we will become a stronger team and with better achievements. BUT still....haiz...
I guess I have to seriously look around after CNY.

I went Kbox with baby last night and sang until 3am! It was cheap also because Peiyan was the cashier! I did not know she has been working there for about 2 years but I've never met her everytime i went. Although we were so tired already, but I still want to sing until the very last minute.

This morning had to wake up at 10am to shower before going for my 11am manicure appointment. I did full pedi+mani and also full leg and armpit waxing. Only finished around 2pm and went to meet eve at lot 1 immediately. We had lunch at Mos Burger (so late alrdy our lunch, poor eve had to wait for me) before going to Jurong Point.

It's the first time I went to JP after it has extended. I didn't even know how long ago has it been extended, but I AM really impressed! It's sooooo big and almost every shop can be found there! The west side people do not need to go to town anymore! haha..can just use one whole day to shop there!

We walked around a bit and bought some stuff before deciding to have dessert at "Ji De Chi". We had wanted to look for the POSB ATM before that but had such a hard time finding! We followed the signboard which has an arrow pointing to a direction where the ATM is SUPPOSED to be. BUT, we followed and STILL couldn't locate! The signboard was only halfway! So feddup and we went to ask the customer service counter and they told us again it's at B1 near the NTUC.
Again...we walked around and around and still cannot find! Then eve suddenly remembered where is the ATM but when we reached, the queue was DAMN long and there was only ONE DAMN machine!

I still had some cash left so we decided to go eat the dessert first. On the way we saw DBS but queue also very long..so we just proceeded with our plan.
We both had Mango + Sago (mine is with icecream)..yum yum..very thick. We also shared chee cheong fun..quite bland la..but ok la just $1.20.Hehe~~

After eating and chatting, we went to the DBS and queued quite long. When it was almost our turn, we saw there was a signboard saying that the cash withdrawal is $200minimum. I thought there was a typo and MAYBE it meant MAXIMUM instead of MINIMUM but we found out that it is NOT A MISTAKE! So eve withdrew $200 in the end. haha.. It's the first time I come across such an ATM lor!! Cannot believe it!

When we wanted to go home, her dad came to pick us up from Jurong East and we had dinner at Bukit Timah. I have not seen her dad for a very long time and he is still so funny and is charming in his own way. Haha!

It has been a long day...gotta end my entry now..
Eeewww..yucks..the tV is showing Hannibal now..so gross!
