We got a bit of snow....about 3 inches. Nothing like out east! But it brought plenty of birds to the feeders. A few of these were taken the day before the snow.
Our front yard the morning it snowed. I had been out filling the feeders.
Looks like the snow is Titmouse high :-)
I've been seeing at least 3 Chickadees.....one of my favorite little birds.
Mr and Mrs Cardinal on the rail Lots of those around....half dozen pair for sure.
Mr and Mrs Downy
The Red-bellied Woodpecker getting seeds from that feeder and then holds them against the tree to peck them open.
Hummmmm....wonder who is behind that tail?
All fluffed up to keep warm.
Saw this hawk down in Henderson a couple weeks ago, but not much else yet. The geese should arrive soon I would think.

Sweet little birds, Mary. We had a tiny bit of snow --but not nearly as much as you all had... BUT--the cold temps brought out the birds BIGTIME... We have the same ones that you have except I am worried about my female Cardinal... The male has been coming to the feeder ALONE this week.. Hope Mrs. Cardinal is okay...?????
Great set of photos. Happy Thanksgiving.
Hugs,
Betsy
The snow makes the shots so pretty and the birds show off well with it as a background. Love the bushy tail of the Squirrel. The lighting in the snow shots is great .
I love all your birds. I am anxiously waiting for a good layer of snow.I know,I know,I may regret that before the winter is over.
love the titmouse in snow - snow always makes for beautiful photos - and yours are.
how's your back?
That squirrel is very red. Your hawk looks like a red-shouldered hawk! I still can't see what I am typing!
