Alice and Myra started a tap/ballet class last week (we found one they could do together) and really love it. Here they are trying out their new leotards.
This was their first class. Alice started getting nervous on the way there, despite the fact that Myra and her friend Natalie would be in the class with her, so when we walked in, I was waiting for her to start crying and wanting me to stay with her. Exactly the opposite. She got her shoes on and noticed the teacher was getting everyone into a circle and asked me if that was where she needed to go and then went off to join the class before Myra was even ready!
The parents get to come in the last five minutes to watch a demonstration of what the children learned that day, so this is a picture of them demonstrating a ballet position. I think Alice looks like a natural!
