The begining of Moo Year

How do you starts your Chinese New Year this year? After attending church service and visited 2 houses, my family has no more plan. So I was stuck at home whole afternoon so I tried to do something special. From the tips I googled, I was able to open a secret cow level itself. Wow!
Secret Cow Level
First pack of moo-moo
At first when I saw the pack of hell bovine, I was really stunt by the numbers of it. What I could do was to slow them down a little by decrepify them. The spell only lasts 2 second so it was difficult to kill and cast at the same time. With my two companion, we were able to kill the first pack after much haul.
Second wave of cow
After fighting for a while I suddenly realised that I had confuse. It is a curse that can cause victims to have random target or in other words, fight among themselves. When I cast the spell, I can just sit back and relax until all the cow died.
Corpse Explosion to hasten the kill
When I combine my confuse spell and corpse explosion, I can see wonders! Cows died one after another and sometimes a few fall of after an explosion.
Some more cows
The is really many cows in the secret cow level, however these cow can barely touch me. I heard that you can pick some special item in the secret cow level, maybe it's just my luck that I only get normal stuff like stamina potion, bolts, arrow, rancid gas potion and some other lousy weapon. I did get 2 nice item however.
Items fell of after killing cow king and the other cow.
Notice the unique long bow and a set studded leather armour.Bramble scratch Long bow, a nice bow but the one my rogue was using is a little better than this so I sold it.I love the Cow King's Hide but the defence was really disappointing, besides my armour is an set item with my ring so I won't just sell it off.
Then in the evening, I went to Shirley's house with some friends and had a great time there. I guess that's how I spend my first day of Chinese New Year for this year.

Once Upon a Chinese New Year

The Mandarin Orange
This is Smiley Soon Ah Huat, the mandarin orange. He is from mainland China. He was shipped here with many others. He felt lonely because he had separated from his friends.

However, he is very excited in his new life and look forward to be one of the best mandarin orange ever grew in China.
One day, Ah Huat found his dream orange and fell in love with her. He was very happy that he had the most wonderful time with her.
He would row on the floor whenever he missed her. His smile would never fade because in his heart, he knew he was going to see her in a little while.
In leisure time, he would just lie on the floor and think of her and all the happy moment they went through together. Then he’ll smile all day long.
He knew that she is the one, because she has the power to turn the darkest night in his life to dawn. Thus making him strong and kept on smiling all the way although he faced many obstacles in his life.
Even when all have failed, he would keep on smiling and never give up.
He would never miss any chance to sms or call her. Even if calling her just to say “Hi!”
Unfortunately, things turn sour at the moment. He sat on high place hopping to find a remedy for it or just to look for her. He still smiles.

He had been sitting there and waited for her a while now, when people asked him why does he still doing something that won’t likely to succeed? He would just smile and answer,

“I believe in a thing called love, love is patient, love is kind, It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoice with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”

Suddenly Ah Huat felt himself lifted from the table… Then

I haven’t tasted a mandarin orange since last year… Wonder how this one taste?

It’s so juicy inside! I prefer the sour taste more

Hmm.. Not bad! Not too sour, not too sweet. Just right! Must eat mandarin orange in Chinese New Year!
And that’s the end of the story of Ah Huat the Smiley, I would like to wish you all a Happy Prosperous New Year! Gong Xo Fa Cai! Ang Pao Gia Lai!

Once Upon a Chinese New Year: Preparation

Chinese New Year is just around the corner. People are rushing for their eleventh minutes shopping. Some of them had bought their clothes before Christmas; some are still thinking what to buy. Others just rushed for everything they see. I went to Boulevard last Sunday with my aunts and mom. They wanted to shop for Chinese New Year of course. After they bought their clothes last year (2007), now is time for food stockpile.
While they have another walk in the female department, I have a tour around the building to look for a clean toilet. The DiGi booth is still where it was since it opened, people are still queuing for raw fish.
Haha! My favourite fast food-restaurant in between franchise, the Manhattan Fish Market. Though it is categorized as [restoran] on the top left of the sign board.
There is also a pop star search competition. If you want to know how it is like, imagine your have a neighbour that is so enthusiastic in singing that he spent most of his evening singing his favourite song. Nothing wrong actually if you are enthusiastic in singing, the problem is that you soon found out he sing out of tune and off beat through out the whole song. Nothing is worst than he is still singing unaware of out of tune and off beat. Moved away as soon as I heard this. I’m very grateful that my neighbour is the champion of Karaoke in Kuching.

I just loved Disney, couldn’t resist taking photo at it
If only I’m 10 years younger, I would be the one standing there.

Finally I ended up here. Inspiration. Well, I almost forget my main objective, looking for a clean toilet. Too many shoppers and too less cleaner.

Ok, actually I wanted to have a haircut. My sis told me there is a promotion in Alan Salon so I followed my aunts and mom here. Sorry yeah Aldrin for not going to badminton.

They gave a quick shampoo first before it starts.

Here, my hair stylist, Morris is showing his stylist cut. If he got BO, I’m the first to go off.

He is really good in posing for photo while working.

After some cutting and slashing, here comes the Ah Beng of first year Civil Eng. Student.
By the way, I saw Shirley in World Sports. Her first reaction after she saw me was something like this. Not sure what she means though.

Ok, after having my haircut I have to fulfill my duty, pushing shopping cart in the hypermarket. Ah Beng hairstyle is really good because people tend to give way when you push your trolley through.. The drawback is that people don’t really want to give out free sample to me. They gave them to my aunts and mom instead.
The photo above shows the food and drinks for Chinese New Year for one of the trolley.

As can you see, we spent almost RM400 in just two carts. Inflation inflation inflation..
Pushing trolley to the carpark.
On the way down and under
After that we went home with full of Chinese New Year Goodies. That was of course not everything we had bought for cny, there is a little more left to buy.
Happy Chinese New Year everyone!
