How to change Time Zone of Google Adsense Reports

Today I was seeing my Google Adsense report and thought "Can I see Google Adsense report in my Local Time Zone?" as it's displayed in PST time zone by default. After searching the net, I found very simple steps to change Time Zone of Google Adsense Reports. Here it is.

1. Login to Adsense Account.
2. Click on the Gear at the right top of page and then Click on Settings.
 

3. Click on Account Information from left menu.
4. Then click on edit link next to Time Zone.


5. Now Select your Time Zone from the Drop Down and Save. Wow! You are Done!

Blogger doesn't work without www

Today I was experiencing a problem while trying to access my blogger blog having custom domain from godaddy without using www in the beginning. My custom domain is www.allbankingexam.com which is a educational website for all banking aspirants. www.allbankingexam.com was working where as allbankingexam.com was not working (now working though, after I fixed it).

There is a very simple way to fix this issue.

1. Go to blogger dashboard.

2. From extreme left side of the page, click on Settings. It should open the page with Basic tab.

3. Under Publishing section, Click on the Edit link next to the domain name (here it is www.allbanbkingexam.com). Refer above image.

A window will appear as below.

4. Now, just select the checkbox.

Wow! You are done. Now, your custom domain without www will redirect to www.yourdomainname.com without any issue.

GIF Image not showing properly in my Blog

Recently I uploaded a GIF Image in my Blog and noticed that the animation is not showing properly and it appears as a Static Image. Then I did a google search to understand why GIF images are not showing properly in Blogger. I got to know that sometimes Blogger doesn't support GIF images.

Resolution:

There is a work around to display GIF images properly in Blog. Upload your GIF images at Photobucket and get a link for Website or Blog. Just use the link to display the Image in your blog. The GIF image will display properly.

Ads in WordPress Blog

Earlier you were not allowed to put Advertisements in your WordPress blog. If you wanted to put ads in your Wordpress blog, then there is a good news for you. Now you can put Advertisements - read the Official News from Wordpress here:

Site Statstics/Page view or Site Hit Counter now available in blogger

A good news for Bloggers. We used to use third party Widgets or Hit Counters to show Site Statistics or Page Views in blogger. These Hit Counters are very much unreliable as sometimes they become unavailable thus not counting the Total Page View accurately.

We have a solution to this problem from blogger now. Blogger has introduced a new Widget called Blog's Stats. Using this widget, you can show total page view of your blog in your site. You can show All Time, last 30 Days or last 7 Days data. Also, you have different styles and animations.

To add blogger Blog's Stats to your blog, follow below steps:
1. Go to Design of your blog.
2. Click on "Add a Gadget" at the location you want Blog's Stats Widget
3. Click on Blog's Stats
4. Customize your view and Save.

Hit Counter is a Tool that counts all the page visits to your Blog or Website. Hit Counter is a nice tool to have a track on the page visits in your Blog or website. Below is a sample Hit Counter image. But, you can customize the image from a range of choices.

How to change Blog Article titles to increase traffic

For good web traffic, the Blog Article titles must be attractive with nice keywords. By default, the blog title comes as <Blog title>:<Article Title>. Thus the blog title always comes first.

Better SEO practice is to show article title first. It will increase your search engine rank significantly.

1. Go to Design --> Edit HTML
2. In Edit Template box find this code:

1. First get code for AdSense for Content by logging into your Adsense account.

a. Login to blogger, go to Dashboard

Post a Comment is not working in blogger..

My readers are complaining that they are not able to post a comment in my blog. I was not aware of this problem till i got an email from one of my blog reader. Then I searched for a solution to fix this problem. Here I am sharing the same with you in case you face the same "Unable to Post a Comment" problem.

Solution:
Go to "Customize" -> "Layout", then "Edit HTML" and click on the "Revert widget templates to default" below the "Edit Template" text box. That will solve the problem. Your readers now will be able to post comments in your blog.

How to remove large white space above table in blogger?

If your blog has lot of white spaces above a HTML table, then don't worry. That is a very common problem. Here we will see the cause of the White Space problem in Blogger and see how to remove those white spaces.

Here is a sample code for HTML Table:

See the HTML table code above. There are lot of new line as we press Enter after each tag. This causes lot of white spaces in blogger.

To remove the white spaces, put the HTML table code in one line and press enter only when a line is complete.

You can rewrite the HTML table code as below and the white space issue will be resolved.
