Summer Note Cards

This cute file reminds me of camping under the stars:

You get 3 each of 4 different designs for a total of 12 hang tags. You can find this file here:Ewe-N-Me-Printables

After cutting out my hang tags I punched a hole in the top and added some twine then I layered my card bases with some burlap, added some jewels and I was done. Very fast and easy note cards which you can use yourself or give as a gift.

Thank you for stopping by to take a look.

Spring Note Cards

Good morning, I hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter Sunday. I have been playing with these super cute vintage postcards. Being a snail mailer I can always use some cute note cards and this file is perfect:

You can find this file here: Ewe-N-MePrintables Hang Tags - Song in Your Heart Postcards you get 4 total postcards on each sheet and you can print as many as you want to.

So, you may wonder, why are there only 3 rust note cards? Well, that was one of those funny, "WHAT did I just do things".......While I was cutting with my wavy blade in my paper trimmer, I managed to do the bottom cut on the fold side.

I was a bit more careful with my yellow note cards.

After doing the wavy edge cut I added ribbon, flowers and leaves plus a few jewels. These make great note cards for you or would make a very nice gift for any occasion and are very fast and easy to make.

Thank you for stopping by to take a look.

Thanksgiving Place Cards & Autumn Note Cards

I have been having fun with more of Deena's Printables.

I started off with this Thanksgiving Collage file:

You get 6 images in 2 sizes for a total of 12images and you can print as many as you need.

It was very easy to make place cards for my Thanksgiving table.

I used some leftover letters to add my name, of course I could have picked a color that shows up better.

After cutting out the 6 large images I inked the edges then cut Kraft paper backings a little bigger than the images and layered them together.

For the bottom part I used a leftover place setting from my son's wedding as a pattern then added as I needed to make my images fit then I scored them down the middle and folded in half. I used double sided tape to attach the images to the I guess easel part and added some sequins for a little shine.

Next I made up some note cards using this file:

You get 3 each of 3 different images for a total of 9 images and you can print as many as you need.

Once again after cutting out the images I inked the edges. Then I cut the card bases which I decorated using a stencil and colored pencil for the little blocks on the top and bottom of the cards.

I cut Kraft paper and wrapped them with ribbon, attached to the card fronts then I layered the images on top with foam pads. I also chomped the corners.

Thank you for stopping by to take a look.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Note Cards & Tic Tac Toe

Once again, I have two projects for today. The first one is a note card from this file:

This was so fast and easy to do, it wouldn't take very long at all to make up a set as a hostess gift as you are running out the door.

After printing and cutting the note card and envelope out, I inked my edges then I added some leaves using a small leaf stamp from my stash, some shinny leaf  confetti and a piece of twine on the edge.

These would be useful for several different things, Thanksgiving dinner invitations, my favorite, tea party invitations, hostess gifts, actually a gift for any occasion.

Next I had more bottle cap fun, using up some more of these Fall Pockets bottle cap images from last month.

I wanted to make a Tic Tac Toe game that can go wherever you do. I left the outside a little bland. I started with a Silhouette file for the box, cutting the top, bottom and insert with my Cameo. I printed the, "Tic Tac Toe" with my Cricut.

I added the grid lines with my Cricut using Sure Cuts a Lot to trace a picture of the grid which I found online.

I cut the images out, inked the edges then adhered them to the inside of the bottle caps then I coated the entire inside of the caps with Glossy Accents. I made 5 scarecrow pieces and 5 cactus pieces. All of the pieces fit inside making it easier to find them and to take them along wherever you go.

Thank you for stopping by to take a look.

One Image - Two Cards

Hello everyone and Happy Monday! Welcome to November, too!

This is the time of the year when things start to get crazy busy. Even the most organized person finds herself needing a last minute card or gift. Which is why I LOVE Deena's downloadable images. Not only is the quality great, but they are so easy to work with.

Today I'm featuring her Apple A Day Printable Note Card.

Note Card and Envelope - An Apple a Day

You will get three pages -- an instruction sheet, the note card and an envelope. All you have to do is print, cut and glue. Instant card and envelope!!

Today, I'm showing you two different cards to illustrate the versatility, as well as simplicity of this image. You can use the note card as is, but I wanted to add a few 3D decorative elements to each.

I printed the note card page twice so that I could use the image on two different cards.

For the first card, I cut out the image and adhered it to an ivory card. Then I embellished the card with lace trim, a strip of gingham ribbon and a silver brad.

For the second card, I adhered the image to dark green cardstock, added a decorative flower and glued that panel to an ivory card.

These two cards took me maybe ten or fifteen minutes total! Perfect for those times when you are in a hurry!

Thanks for stopping by today!
See you next time!

Angel Note Cards

I love small note cards because they are just so handy. They're so convenient to have on hand because they can be used in so many ways: along with a gift, to send a quick note to a someone or to use as a gift set. Deena's Hang Tags - Angel Postcards were the perfect images to use for the fall and upcoming holiday season.

Hang Tags - Angel Postcards

There are four different angels, and you'll receive two of each on a page.

After printing out the sheet, I cut out four images and adhered them to a rich brown cardstock. The colors on this downloadable are wonderful for this time of year and looked great against the brown background.

For a decorative touch, I added some curly-cue brads to each image. I used two black and two gold and they have a sparkly finish -- a perfect little detail for the holidays.

These angel tags were so much fun to create with. Deena makes working with her images so easy. Just print, cut and glue!!

Hello My Friend

Happy Monday!

The calendar says Spring and Easter is a week away, but you'd never know it where I live! There's snow on the ground and it's cold. I need a bit of cheering up!

What better way to do so than to work on this wonderful note card set called Hello My Friend - Bicycle! The colors are bright and cheery and the handsome fellow in the photo definitely made me smile!

Note Card and Envelope - Hello Friend-Bicycle

I printed both the card and envelope on white stock and then cut them out like so:

I cut out the front of the card and adhered it to a heavier white stock for more support since I was adding embellishments. I had the flower on hand and it matched the colors of the card perfectly. The white felt rick-rack was a recent purchase from the clearance bin at Joanne's -- I couldn't resist it -- and it adds a bit of fun to the card.

This note card set is just delightful! Who wouldn't love to receive this cheery greeting!

Old Spring Time Cards

Hello fellow bloggers.

Is it just me or is this year flying by? We are almost half way through March.

When deciding on what to make with these graphics, I knew I wanted to make a card that looked like it had been stored in Grandma's old trunk for a few years.

I used a muted gray and muted brown.

I put it on white cardstock so the colors would look old.
I also left lots of "empty" space on the card which was hard for me.
But for the look I wanted
I think it turned out great.

I love these graphics. They are already aged beautifully.

12 Months of Note Cards

I couldn't decide if I wanted to make birthday or note cards, then I looked at my stack of correspondence that I SHOULD be answering I went with note cards using this very file: Altered Calendar Hang Tags  You get all 12 months in this file.

Since I am still learning how to use the eBrush I got with my Christmas gift card I wanted to incorporate it in the project so I pulled out the masks that I have had for a couple of years but never used before. I really like the rick rack/zig zag look so I started with that mask. I also decided to go with a newsprint paper because the rick rack on these are layered on to newsprint paper.

I laid the mask on my paper and held it into place using blue painter's tape (this stuff is GREAT!! I've had this roll for quite a while but never used it before). I find that the eBrush is very easy to use, changing colors is no big deal and I don't have the overspray that you get when you use the spray bottles, no more going outside in the wind trying to add a little color to my paper.

I really like the way I had a couple of different zig zag options to add a little extra to my note cards but I got tired of zig zags and used different masks on the remainder of the year.

I like the zig zag pattern the best then the diamond shaped mask, not real nuts about the circles, which do you prefer?

As you can see, I punched the hole at the top of the tag and added a matching piece of twine and a piece of twine up the folded side. On the zig zag patterned paper I also added a piece of matching paper that I ran through my Cuttlebug with a zig zig edge folder. I adhered the tags to the card using foam tape.

See you next time.

New Year Note Cards

Hi everyone - Beth here! I hope you all had a wonderful and blessed Christmas Day!

This time of year can be so hectic, so today I'm featuring a super-simple but super-lovely note card set that features Deena's Collage Sheet - New Year Kids. There are six different images in two different sizes -- for a total of twelve images!!

I printed off the sheet on white cardstock and cut out the images I wanted to use. The note card set I'm featuring today uses the small images which are 1.5" x 2.5".

I started off with six 3"x3" dark green note cards and layered each with a panel of vintage ledger paper. I then adhered one of the images to each card. The vibrant colors are so perfect against the dark green cards.

I stamped "2015" in teal blue ink on the edge of each card. I kept it easy and carefree by stamping the numbers in free form style. No precision alignment here!!!

These images are so charming -- look at those sweet faces!!

Wouldn't this note card set make a lovely thank you gift?

Thanks for visiting today -- enjoy the rest of the holiday season!
