I think all males, at some time in their life, benefit from doing some sort of hard labor kind of work.
Sam is having that chance this week before classes start at BYU.
This is his where he has been working the last week. These shots were taken with his camera phone.
He’s been mucking out ditches at a friend’s orchard in Utah.
That’s not just mud you’re looking at . . . if you catch my drift.
And he needs to beware of slithery, slimy, don’t-see-‘em-until-they-scurry-away-from-you creatures.
Havin’ a good time Sam?
I wonder if this will be an even stronger motivator to do well in college.
Hugs!
true true methinks.
ReplyDeleteSam - Bet food never tasted so good or sleep was never more relaxing or came more easily?
And, while not like seeing the pyramids arise from your efforts, it does feel pretty darn good to look at the "after" situation and think "i did that".
And, now you're double ready for school, eh? :-)
Love you-
Oh the stories he will have to tell his children some day...... Lucky man. No better work than crappy work to bring out the best in you. ;-)
