My Little Signer

I had to grab my camera when I saw this:Have I mentioned Baby Signing Time enough? That's what he's watching with his cute, too big head thrown back. Here he's signing "wind" along with the video:
Captain Adorable gets sooo excited when I put Baby Signing Time on for him. He crawled over to the Bumbo seat and plopped himself in it.
So he could watch from a seat.
He likes little baby chairs.
Captain Adorable LOVES music and he is always dancing, swaying his torso, to it. And there is a lot of music in Baby Signing Time. It's the cutest thing.

At Gma J's & Papa R's

Captain Adorable LOVED the animals at my parents' house. He would scream with excitement whenever he saw them. This cat is named Jasper and we often had to separate him from Captain Adorable because Jasper liked to swat him. Good thing Jasper is declawed. There were a couple of times that the mama in me rose up and I wanted to kill the cat for threatening my baby. I am not much of an animal lover.
My mom bought Ballerina this Stinger Bee game. It's very simple and they had a fun time playing it.Here is the beautiful Ruthann. She loves my little family.
She took these pics of me and Captain Adorable.
I love how Ruthann dotes on my kids.
(See how Ballerina is chewing on her finger? She has been doing this more recently and it hasn't been good for her fingers)This was one of the beautiful sunsets we enjoyed in Utah.
Captain Adorable spent most of his time at Gma and Papa's mastering the stairs. It got to the point that I wasn't worried about him on the stairs, until he started trying to walk up them like this.
Can you tell that my dad really enjoys having a grandson? And my mom really enjoys her granddaughters. And no visit to Grandma's is complete without a book or two.We woke up early the next morning (3am) for our car journey home. We stopped at a fast food play place and the IKEA of Portland to use their kids' place. Sweetie was very excited that she got to go in the play place with Ballerina since she is potty trained. I was SOOO impressed with Sweetie because she was doing SOOO well with potty training. Even on vacation. She started to regress on the wedding day when she had an accident because she didn't know where the potty was. We are working on getting her back to where she was.

BYU

We spent most of Saturday in Utah shopping for BYU gear.We visited my dad's office on BYU campus. This mask was from when my sister Ruthann went on study abroad to Mexico.
My dad had fun with his little grandson visiting.
And I got a picture with my daddy.
My mom totally spoiled my kids. She bought this cat for Ballerina. She bought a dragon for Sweetie (which was Sweetie's choice) and some cars for Captain Adorable.
I wanted to get some pictures of us and the Y on the mountain.
But the sun was too bright and if I made the people in the foreground the right exposure...
then the Y just vanishes.
See? You can't even see the Y. Oh well.
Walking on campus.
It's weird to think that in about 20-30 years I'll be walking on campus with MY grandkids.
One thing on the list of purchases was the next size up cheerleader costume for Sweetie. They didn't have Ballerina's size in stock. So maybe next time.
While waiting for Jamba Juices, Sweetie checked out the stuffed cougar.
She wanted to know where it's daddy and babies were.
They had a snack in the CougarEat.
Red cream soda...
Don't you love my dad's cougar hat?
Handsome Husband and my dad took Ballerina to the football game where BYU lost (our football team REALLY stinks this year). But Ballerina had a good time from what I hear. I didn't think Sweetie would enjoy the noise and I wanted to get more shopping done.
I picked up new BYU shirts for Ballerina and Cpt. Adorable, since I got the new cheerleader outfit for Sweetie. I also got a BYU hat for Captain Adorable and a BYU keychain for Handsome Husband. I would have gotten more, but BYU apparel is EXPENSIVE!!!! We stopped at Macey's where I picked up a bit of food storage (and hair bows) and we stopped at Deseret Book where I got a Jenny Oaks Baker CD, tithing banks for the girls, and a sewing book for Ballerina because she wants to sew. And I couldn't pass up eating out at Chick-Fil-A for dinner! My mom is SUCH a good shopping companion, especially because she is so willing to help with the kids! Love you, Mom!
