We spent most of Saturday in Utah shopping for BYU gear.
We visited my dad's office on BYU campus. This mask was from when my sister Ruthann went on study abroad to Mexico.
My dad had fun with his little grandson visiting.
And I got a picture with my daddy.
My mom totally spoiled my kids. She bought this cat for Ballerina. She bought a dragon for Sweetie (which was Sweetie's choice) and some cars for Captain Adorable.
I wanted to get some pictures of us and the Y on the mountain.
But the sun was too bright and if I made the people in the foreground the right exposure...
then the Y just vanishes.
See? You can't even see the Y. Oh well.
Walking on campus.
It's weird to think that in about 20-30 years I'll be walking on campus with MY grandkids.
One thing on the list of purchases was the next size up cheerleader costume for Sweetie. They didn't have Ballerina's size in stock. So maybe next time.
While waiting for Jamba Juices, Sweetie checked out the stuffed cougar.
She wanted to know where it's daddy and babies were.
They had a snack in the CougarEat.
Red cream soda...
Don't you love my dad's cougar hat?
Handsome Husband and my dad took Ballerina to the football game where BYU lost (our football team REALLY stinks this year). But Ballerina had a good time from what I hear. I didn't think Sweetie would enjoy the noise and I wanted to get more shopping done.
I picked up new BYU shirts for Ballerina and Cpt. Adorable, since I got the new cheerleader outfit for Sweetie. I also got a BYU hat for Captain Adorable and a BYU keychain for Handsome Husband. I would have gotten more, but BYU apparel is EXPENSIVE!!!! We stopped at Macey's where I picked up a bit of food storage (and hair bows) and we stopped at Deseret Book where I got a
Jenny Oaks Baker CD,
tithing banks for the girls, and a
sewing book for Ballerina because she wants to sew. And I couldn't pass up eating out at Chick-Fil-A for dinner! My mom is SUCH a good shopping companion, especially because she is so willing to help with the kids! Love you, Mom!
