Ugg this gym I tell you. I have a love hate relationship with it right now. I love getting to work out, take a few minutes to myself and just breath. However, I completely despise the way they are treating me with (ALL of my kids). It's like they have never met someone with more than one child before, it's kind of comical, barely.
This week I dropped the kids off in the Kids Care area and then went for my half hour workout. When I returned to pick up my kiddos there was a lady waiting outside of the Kids Care area. She was pregnant, sweating, and looked like she was just catching her breath. I smiled at her and walked in to get my kids. Oops apparently I made a BIG MISTAKE!
As soon as I get in I type in my phone number and start asking the ladies taking care of the kids how they did. One of the attendants gives me a dirty look and then finally as she is sighing deeply says, "You know our policy here is 1 family in the pickup/drop off ONLY and you just cut right in front of that other lady out there!" I felt like I was just punched in the gut. Her tone of voice was so rude. I profusely apologized and then ran out of the pickup area and then apologized to the pregnant lady who I guess was waiting to pick up her kids. I told her I had no idea this was a policy and that I was new to this whole thing. She was so nice and said it wasn't a big deal and that she was happy to take a few more minutes to recover from her workout. I went back in AGAIN and apologized some more but continued to get more dirty looks. I feel like they are trying to deter me from coming back by treating me poorly. That might work for some but not for me... I'll be back... and with all 4 of my kids too!! Ha
