Hello friends, thank you for your support and everything! I received this in my Inbox today:

"Congratulations! We are pleased to inform you that you have won the Merit Award for Best Photograph – Campus Events/Activities category in the “NUS Photo Contest: People & Places: Snapshots of Life on Campus"

I don't really know what "Merit Award" means or whether I even stand to receive any prize of some sort (maybe they're just gonna give me a certificate -.-) but I guess it's quite an awesome feeling to have "won" an award in some sort of photography competition! Prize giving is next Friday (17 April). I do hope I get something though. :p

In any case, many many thanks for people who bothered to go vote at the website, and going against your will when you had to vote for my photo and not the cheerleading guy with streamers (I thought that was the best photo :p). thank you muchly :)

Hi guys, this is a shameless plug I know, and the first time I'm doing this (I think). About a month ago I submitted a photo into the NUS Campuslife Photo competition. I submitted a photo which I took during the NUS-GE Waterpolo Challenge, some of you might remember it.


Here's how I would appreciate your help - this thingy works via a voting system, so would be great if you could go HERE and cast for vote for my photo under the category Activities/Events.
