❤ Getting Engaged!
And yes!! After almost 4 years.... We are finally getting engaged!
We have always been talking about getting married and such but we have never ever seriously sat down and have a serious talk before. This Engagement plan was really sudden to be honest. He was sending me home one day and decided to have a small chat with mum before heading back home... That was when they told me our Engagement Day will be on 23rd of April and I was really shocked and confused since I am still under probation and unsure if I can do this. Then I decided to have a long thought on that idea and alhamdulillah, I finally agreed to the date and went to Office to arrange for an off on that day. Few days later we finally went on a ring shopping for me. I was soooo excited! Since I have been dreaming of wearing a diamond ring for a very long time now! & Finally! He bought me this immense shiny Diamond ring worth of 47 Diamonds! I really really really love it! The ring is the perfect type of ring that I have been imagining myself wearing for a lifetime.
OH God!! They have the image online! Yes it is this exact ring!!! Big fan of the cut! So unique and sophisticated..
Things I need to do before my Engagement,
- Photography (Of course, I need this, haha!)
- My outfit (Hopefully mum can source out when she flies to Jakarta & Bandung!)
- His outfit (Have to arrange a date to JB soon!)
- Hair Veil & Hair Pins (Need no mak andam! saving some pennies on this!)
- Make up (Lashes, Eyeshadows, Concealers, Pink Lipstick!)
- Catering (Settled! $10 per head for varieties of dishes!)
- Guestlists (Keeping it minimal)
- Door gifts (If time permits!)
- E-Invite (Save time and money)
- Bouquet (Who doesnt need this when they are getting engaged, yes?)
Hope I can complete all these errands before our special day. I am super sleepy now. Still busy completing the safety test which is due soon. Yawnssss* Love the job, hate the culture.

Goodbye to fishnet, bobbi pins, u pins, rubber bands and lots of hairspray! Welcoming my new hairstyle for a new career! Can't stop crying inside my heart after seeing the after cut look. The hairstylist chopped too much of my hair! I don't know what she was thinking about!! But I am learning to accept the new me.. Haha!
So here's the updated photos ever since Ive started with my new career. Been really stressful! It is not easy at all to continue the course, lots of determination and mind work. Have to keep memorizing, memorizing and more memorizing. Admin, Aircraft Features, Country codes/Time difference and so on.... Next week will be looking forward to our first flight together as a passenger! And following week will be based at SIA Training Centre for 3 whole weeks. Really glad I have a great bunch of Batchmates that have the same mindset, to move forward and successfully graduating from this course to become a certified Cabin Crew!
Half way typing this post, I got a really good surprise from my boyfriend! My mum and sis kept telling me my boyfriend is in front of the house. I keep hiding cause I knew they were lying to me since I know my boyfriend ends work usually at about 2am... I kept hesitating until my sister really convinced me its him. So I went out to the door and saw him smiling and laughing at my new hair and surprise me with a box of 12 TWG Macarons that I loveeeee so much!! More than 3 years together but the romance still continues.
Got to go! Have to memorize the aircraft features! Till then!
