I have had a great time being room mom for the kindergarten class this year. My main job seems to be "party planner", which is awesome by me! For this year's Valentine's Day party we did a scavenger hunt that sent the kids all over the school finding goodies to fill up their bags. We also hid one of the prizes in the first/second grade class and in order get their treat they had to sing to their fellow students. The hunt ended in the chapel where they found love notes from God. Then we decorated heart-shaped rice krispy treats and ate cupcakes. A sugar fest filled with love!
