Stampin' Up Website

Happy Saturday!  I just activated my Stampin' Up website where you can shop 24/7.  I also just noticed there are a bunch of new items on the SU clearance rack, including some retired cardstock, ribbons, etc.  Lots of goodies there and super cheap prices!

My Digital Studio!

My Digital Studio is a digital crafting software that Stampin' Up! released last fall.  I've been playing around with it the last few days, and it's really great!  It's takes a little different mind set from card making, but it's very similar...just building layers, adding embellishments, etc.  Here's a card front that I made using the software in about 10 minutes.  Another reason I wanted this software is so that I could make a custom blog header.  Since I know zero about web design, I expected it to be a challenge, but it was super simple.  I didn't really spend much time with this particular header, I just wanted to see if I could do it.  Patty Bennett has a very helpful video tutorial as well.  I'm sure there will be lots more to come in the future - with more details, pictures, etc.  Endless possibilities!

wooohooo!!!

My SU demonstrator kit arrived last night!  Look at all the goodies in this box :-)  Since I already have quite a few stamp sets, I opted for the digital kit which includes the My Digital Studio software.  I've been playing with it a bit this morning and it's AWESOME!  I can't wait to create some more elements for my blog and some scrapbook pages to share with you.  I'm also hoping to feature a "hy-brid" project (some digital elements combined with traditional stamping) at my kick-off stamp camp on Sept. 25th.  So glad the weekend is almost here so I can spend some time stamping!
