Tropical Party

We had card club at Sara's house a few weeks ago. Instead of Sara making the cards, we all brought supplies and a card for each person to make. It was a fun little twist to our usual night. Here's my card...I couldn't resist the tropical stamps and paper in the summer mini catalog. These are some of my favorite colors, and well, palm trees and pina coladas happen to be favorites too. Here's to summertime!

Big Birthday Candles

I made this card a long time ago, just didn't get around to posting it...I guess I took a little blogger vacation last month! Anyhow, here's I had fund with this card using the jumbo eyelets and my Crop-a-dile Big Bite. I ran across the Big Bite in Wal-Mart one day and it was on some ridiculous sale for $14! It's normally around $40! Now that I've been doing more 12x12 scrap booking, this is a great tool because it's 6" deep so it can reach all the way to the center of a 12x12 page. The colors were inspired by the ColourQ challenge below...although I modified the colors a bit based on what I had on hand. Enjoy!
