I finally made a card today! My hostess club order arrived on Friday, and I couldn't wait to try out these cute little pumpkins! Sunday is usually a great day for stamping for me, but today, I'm going to have to stop with just this one card and do some other things. I've had the privilege of traveling again for work, so lots of laundry and work to catch up on. I'm also almost finished with the Disney scrapbooks, so they are high on my priority list as well. Hope you enjoy my take on Karen's sketch and a few pumpkin smiles! Happy Sunday!

Butterflies
Seems like forever since I've spent anytime stamping! I guess it's just that time of year and everything you could imagine is going on! Lots of work, traveling - both fun and work related, so the blog posting may be a bit sporadic for a while. However, I'm going to do a bunch of scrap booking this weekend at a retreat with Jeannie and some other friends, so it should be a good time!
One of the sentiments included in this butterfly set is "If nothing ever changed there would be no butterflies" - I just think that's an awesome little quote, and so true! Lots of changes going on all over the place right now, and I'm looking forward to all the butterflies and good things coming up! :-) Have a great weekend!

Here's another good luck card I made last weekend....it's a BIG card - just 8.5x11 folded in half. The letters are made with sizzlits on my big shot. Can't remember the name of the font off the top of my head, but it was the first time I've used these letters. Pretty slick!
I'm in Iowa to celebrate my sister-in-law's wedding this weekend. We're in-between activities at the moment and I'm off to get a pedicure soon. Should be a fun weekend! I'll be back next week :-)

Manchester Tie
Sorry I missed you yesterday! I actually got up around 6am and went to the gym, so my morning was a little different than usual and I completely forgot to post. I made this card (and tomorrows card) over the weekend for some co-workers who are moving on to other jobs or going back to school. I have seen a tie on a card somewhere, but couldn't figure out where, so I made this one origami style. It took a little bit to figure it out, and the designer paper is a little thick, but it all worked! I used a few other pieces of machester paper on the card, and again the designer label punch with a chit chat rub-on. Ta-da!
Here's the instructions for the tie - I used a 5x5 piece of paper, and my tie is slightly longer than 5"...if you haven't done this before, practice with some regular paper (cuz it's thinner) and have your bone folder handy!
