MUA Super Strength Base Coat

The above is of Deborah Lippmann - Dancing In The Sheets.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (1 minute for a coat). It smells a little too. I had never used this base coat before, so I thought I would try it. The previous post Avon Hot, had chipped and then I tried it with the Lippmann. I was really shocked because it chipped within half an hour! I put a top coat on and it still chipped quite badly. That's my left had and right was worse than that!

I tried the Lippmann polish with the Butter London base coat and it didn't chip! My conclusion is that the Lippmann polish is good quality and the base coat is rubbish. I really don't recommend this at all. If you are looking for a cheap base coat, Collection do a good one.

MUA Starfish

I'm feeling a lot better, nearly human. The sun is out in Scotland and I'm over the worst of my cold! Yah. Long may it continue and I can dig out the holos!

This is okay to use and okay to apply. The brush and lid are annoying at first, but you will get used to them. It's quite slow drying too. But boy it is a lovely pinky colour. It has little bits of glitter and an almost blue shimmer to it as well. Lasted really well too.

MUA Mystical Glitter Nails Seahorse

Merry Christmas Everyone!

I bought some of the MUA polishes when they had the offer on the website a few weeks ago. This one is called Seahorse, it's an olive green/gold glitter colour.

All artificial light.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and fairly quick drying. The lid was comfortable enough to hold and the brush was pretty good. I'd say it as olive greeny/gold with glitter, which was nice and smooth. Mr Posh thought it was pewter, but his eyesight ain't that great without his spex! Lasted really well, good quality.

MUA Broken Arrow Crackle

Just had to try this one.
It's a purple crackle one. At first I wasn't sure what colour to base it with then I decided on a white. The following are on top of OPI's Alpine Snow (which is over £5 tut tut).

It was easy to apply and dried quickly. It isn't as dull as the other crackles I've used (Barry Ms) and it does dry with a shiny finish, which is hard to tell from the pictures. I thought it would be awkward with the wee bottle, but it was easy to use. It did last the few day I had it on.

Like this one a lot and would highly recommend it. A sure 10 out of 10 can't fault it in anyway! And only £2.99 from Superdrug.

I'm not sure what other colours to base with it. Maybe a green next time?
