New Who

New Doctor Who starts this Saturday on BBC in the UK and BBC America in the US. US time is 9pm edt Sept. 1. It's the start of the Seventh Series and many changes for our Doctor as we get closer to the 50 the anniversary next year. First up is those annoying pepperpots the Daleks. We get only half the season in 2012 with Ponds and Xmas special we get the new companion.

Caroline John

We've lost another member of the Doctor Who Famliy, Liz Shaw aka Caroline John has passed away.
(1940 - 2012)
She was only a companion for one series but it was with the great Jon Pertwee and that makes her the first companion i saw, so she's my favorite with my favorite Doc.

New Companion For The Doctor

Jenna-Louise Coleman joins Matt Smith in the TARDIS this December as the 11th Doctor's newest companion.
I haven't seen her in anything but she's cute as button.
The Moff hasn't been wrong yet in his casting, i trust the Moff.

Doctor Who

I enjoyed this Christmas gift of a special from Doctor Who, the more i see of Matt Smith i believe he is the Doctor. He's much different from my favorite Doctor of all time, Jon Pertwee. He still reminds me of Patrick Troughton which is a good thing, Smith and the Moff have brought back the fun and magic of Doctor Who and i hope they stay for the 50th annivesary of the show. Back to the special, it had magic, thrills and holiday angst and that ending..well i'm sure mnay a Whovian shed a tear for the Doctor (and i think Smith played the scene without the over the top angst we would have gotten from Tennant or Eccleston, had a bit of Tom Bakerness to it).
Merry Christmas Doctor and thankyou.

I'm enjoying this season and Matt Smith & Karen Gillan have become one of my favorite TARDIS teams.
Hate to see the season end, i expect an exciting and RTD free overblown emo fest from the Moff.

Who's On First?

In my opinion Matt Smith is becoming one of the best Doctors ever. I don't look for hidden messages or go anal trying to critique ever episode and try to fit into some weird ass pattern that some so called Doctor Who fans have in their brains, they miss something essential...having fun.
If you have fun watching the show, enjoy it. If you think it's a load of clap trap...go watch a Stargate Beating A Dead Horse series or something.
In just 3 episodes Mr. Smith and Miss Gillan with the help of the Moff have returned fun to the series, Rusty's constant emo driven character plot overkills made watching Tennant's last season an up and down exercise but i still enjoyed the series but not as much as i am now.

Cannot mention how important Doctor Who has been for me since the early 70's when the best Doctor ever was on, Jon Pertwee. Just glad the fun and adventure is back.

Who news

Seems the BBC has already picked up Doctor Who for a sixth season. So looks like we have at least 2 seasons of Matt SMith as the Doc. Filming will start in June.
1 month before the 5 th season starts.

The New Doctor

After the typical RTD sentimental finish of the Tenth Doctor's series (and no there's nothing wrong with that, it's just Rusty and expected), i can't wait for the new Doctor and his episodes.
