Some of the new paintings that I have been working on during the late Summer and Autumn have become smaller, and with a black chunky frame, they look so inviting and mysterious. Like little snippets of dreams.
These are a few images that I have to show you for now. Many more to come!

A gift of an early Spring after the storms of England.
The February storms have passed and these first few days of March have been amazing for the early buds and blossoms of the hedgerow and woods. While walking the tiny country lanes I find that everywhere has come alive with the first flowers of Spring. Snowdrops are fading now to create the space for daffodils and celandines and the first of the cherry blossom are in company of singing birds calling their mate home for the evening.
The soft Spring light after the rains has inspired new paintings of nature as it returns to new life.
The fresh greens and softness of creamy pinks against the dark branches of trees.
Beautiful calm, sunny days with whispers of mist over the water.

Prints of these 'Heart' paintings will be in my etsy shop very soon.

New 'Heart' art prints ready for Valentine's
During the last week or so, while the rain and wind storms were raging outside my window, I decided to paint a few new originals for art prints to sell in my etsy shop. Staying cosy and warm, I dreamed of Spring and the sunnier days to come but it is soon Valentine's Day and thought these prints would be perfect to do for this time of year.
'Friendship'.
'Dreaming'
'Rising Moon'
'The Moon and the Stars'
'The Gift'
All of these art prints have touches of gold leaf in the details, which I feel, make the colours sing and adds to the beauty of the prints.
More small originals coming soon.

This is a very special art exhibition of some of my favourite artists in the UK. Ed Org with his wonderful fantasy art and books. Jesa Marshall, beautiful jewellery! Julien Hatswell, Amazing art, sculptures and clocks. Sue Burne, stunning glass engraver. Also Sue Rawley, magical pewter boxes and mirrors.
If you are around Stoke Mandeville from the 14th February, please pop in and our work on display.
