Fallen Angel

A few months ago, my daughter and I spent the morning at the beach digging in the sand, making sandcastles and having some fun just the two of us. I ALWAYS bring my camera when I am out with my kids - you never know when that kodak moment will strike! I had been snapping candid (or so I thought) photos of her for most of the morning when she suddenly sat up and said "No more pictures mommy!". Oops!! Sometimes even those 'not so perfect' photos turn into the best projects. This was the last shot I took that day - she was pretty much at her wits end wouldn't you agree!? LOL!
The beautiful flowers and leaves are by ZVA Creative - they just softened the Steampunk papers from Graphic 45 perfectly.
I did a heap of fussy cutting and distressing on this project and added so many paper layers!  I love all the dimension offered by the chipboard pieces (all from Dusty Attic).  I first painted them a creamy colour and then added distress stickles before inking and then applying Glossy Accents by Ranger.

Thanks so much for your visit today!! I'll be back tomorrow to share a few sweet backyard pics and videos of the kids in their turtle pools - yes, we have more than one - LOL!

Everything is so beautiful!! I could look at it all day. it's very inspiring and makes me want to stop whatever I'm doing (or have to do) and try to create something as lovely as one of your projects.
