Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps April 2017 NEW Release peeks Day TWO

Oh hello and welcome back for DAY TWO
of the fantastic April release sneak peeks

Yesterday we showed you a favorite fairytale princess
and today we have another - EEEEEeeeee!
It's my favorite princess - CINDERELLA by artist Annie Rodrigue!

This is such a magical image featuring the sweet princess and her
gorgeous ball gown! Plus the set comes with three fabulous sentiments!

I'm just so excited about this set!  I knew I wanted to
make it extra sparkly like the scene in the movie where
her dress gets transformed right before our very eyes.
Here's my card to share with you:
I colored her with copic markers and then enhanced some of
the shadows and shading with prismacolor pencils.   I added
some liquid pearls to her dress and when that dried added
a healthy dosage of frontage all around her.  I LOVE
how she turned out and plan to frame her later.

Here's a close up of all that sparkle

I'm entering this card in these awesome challenges:

Don't forget to join us for the LIVE Online Release Party
on Saturday at 2 pm EST (in the Kraftin' Kimmie Friends
Facebook group).  It's always lots of fun!

Now off  you go to see some more beautiful creations from the Krafty
team and guests.  I think you are gonna LOVE what  you see!

Kraftin' Kimmie Wonderful Wednesday - {Look for Rainbows}

Hello lovely crafty friends - Happy Wednesday!
It's time for another ANYTHING GOES Challenge
for Wonderful Wednesday at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE!

My card today features the beautiful young
gal from Look for Rainbows along with a retired
sentiment from a previous set (sorry about that) that
has been laying on my craft desk for awhile and seemed
so perfect for this.  That small grass piece on the bottom
was also on the desk waiting to be used :o).
Are you like me and seldom throw your bits and pieces
and/or rejects away in the hopes that some day you will use them?
In this case I'm really glad that I did :o).
I had colored this image as practice for a color-along that I did
last month for Kraftin' Kimmie in the Facebook Friends group.
I later fussy cut around her and placed her on this card.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
twist of Anything Spring (spring showers & umbrellas)

I hope that you will decide to join us this week!
We want EVERYONE to be able to play along so your submission
can use ANY stamp and can be any theme, any style, any design
and it can be a card, a scrapbook page, an altered item....you name it!
It must be a NEW creation and you can enter until April 18th at midnight!
At the end of the month one random winner will be chosen from
all the submissions for the whole month and will receive a
$20 Gift Card to the shop! The more you play the better your chances
are of winning! What do you think.....wanna WIN? Let's see your krafty stuff!

Thanks for popping in to visit me today! Hope the rest of
your week is a good one! Hugs D

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenges #367 - Hearts

Happy weekend crafty peeps!
Any big weekend plans?
Maybe watching the Superbowl?

Well...I know one thing you can do.
You can get crafty and join us at
where the theme for Challenge #367 is HEARTS!

Perfect theme with Valentine's day right around the corner!
(Ummm how weird is that? Wasn't it just Christmas?)

Here's my DT card to share with  you
using ONE CUP AT A TIME and a die cut panel
that has been sitting on my craft desk for over a year.
I used a combo of watercolor (around the inside of
the die heart shapes and the first layer of stripes on
the cup) and colored pencils to make this card.

If you follow my blog or pop in often to visit me then
you know that I LOVE to color with my copics.
However, I've really been loving all the pencil
creations I've been seeing and I've kind of  challenged
myself to learn how to use them better.  So I've purchased
a few colors and have been playing with them a bit.
Definitely not as easy for me as the copics.
I tend to be kind of heavy handed I guess in
my coloring as it is kind of "streaky" sometimes,
but I'll keep trying.  Practice, practice, practice!

I would like to enter the following challenges:
Color Throwdown #428 where I got this great color combo to use

and
