Question - HELP!.... UPDATE - RESOLVED!

UPDATE!!!! - Thanks to joulesB I got the answer on the first comment! Thank You! I will pass this along!

They are called
Pinmoors. Check them out if you had no idea what I was talking about!

I had a friend at guild mention that she had seen on the web those straight pins you baste quilts with that have the little rubber/eraser like plugs you put on the end. I know I"ve seen a few blogs recently where some of you have tried them. HELP - I can't remember which blogs, or more importantly where you got those pins from? Any ideas?

Didn't want to leave you with no quilty pictures, so 2 more Dear Jane blocks!

The end of the weekend is here

Yup, it is the end of the weekend, so this is about all you will see until next weekend. Sometimes I find time to finish a few things during the week, but lately that is the exception instead of the rule. Above 3 more Brownstone blocks!

And 2 more Dear Jane's.

2 new Dear Jane Blocks and 1 Redone

Yup, I redid the one block from yesterday, and I so love the new one! The old one was fine, but I remembered I had this fabric from the back of a quilt and knew it would be perfect.

And 2 new ones.

See my Dear Jane.

Dear Jane and New Project

Here are 2 more blocks for my Dear Jane. But tonight I got a really good idea on a fabric I have in my stash that I think I want to use for the one below. I think I may remake that one just to use this other fabric! At least it was an easy block!

And I"ve started a new quilt. I"ve wanted to make this quilt since last spring when I saw it at the Chicago Quilt Festival. When it showed up on the cover of Quilters Newsletter Jan/Feb 2010 issue I knew I had to do it. Then I saw Andrea's first block and new it was time! Here is block one! I won't be doing this fast, I"ll do a block now and then. No hurry.

It was bound to happen...

Come on. You guessed it. You just knew. I've spent 10 years wanting to make a Dear Jane quilt and never have. Sure I started once and made 5 blocks and thought they looked crummy - so put them away and didn't touch it again. I even broke down twice and made mini Dear Janes with only a few blocks. I hemmed and hawed. I just couldn't bring myself to buy 12 yards of background fabric. I found excuse after excuse.

Well I did it. January 31st - my first Dear Jane block is done. Sure it is only a 9 patch, but it is a start! And I am all organized now with binder and software to make it happen. And the background fabric. Well I decided nope, not happening. I'm making it scrappy. I'll make most of my blocks with shirtings. when I get closer to having it done I"ll find a fabric for the thin sashing strips. I'm using my stash. Even have my second block prepped for applique and the third is in my head!

Yup, it was bound to happen sometime. It's not like I ever quilt or make anything else - right?
