Our last night at Grandma Kaye's, we got a quick visit from Helen and Scott, who were dropping off a few things. Grandma has inspired the girls to start up a science collection, and Amberlee knew just what to put in it. She had had her eye on a little nest. Sweet Grandpa got it down for her, and we were surprised by some pretty little eggs inside... they were cold and we didn't see any birds around.
The last night we were there, I had promised the kids I would camp out with them on the trampoline. It was so fun to giggle and tell story and watch for shooting stars. I think we couldn't 14 shooting stars. We didn't get much sleep at all, but we made lots of memories. :)
By morning, we were just a big pile... on top of me. I was freezing! Poor Seth sat bouncing for about ten minutes before I realized he needed to use the bathroom. I woke up almost every hour, but it was worth the spectacular view. I love star gazing! I can't think of the last time I saw the stars really well. It was great, but I will admit that the lack of sleep really hit me on the drive home. :)
I came home to this sweet man, who bought a car in his loneliness. Thankfully, not a big one. :) The kids were thrilled. Good to be home! So fun to see family though!

My goodness, a car?! Really? What kind? Perhaps you should come again-- maybe he will purchase a house!
