we like to pretend she can read

She's memorized "Duck and Goose: How are you feeling?" but our gut feeling is she's actually reading.

(Since the book has hardly any words, I've made up dialogue for each page that I repeat every time... so that's mostly what she's quoting.)

That's too funny. Kara does the same thing with her favorite book, even in the same inflection that I use. Silly kids.

So cute! Mason did the same thing and I loved it. He would read me that book and he would really show so much emotion with each word. When he would read the "scared" page he would turn around and hug me like he was scared and then on the "loving" page he would snuggle into me and hug me. I wish I had been smart enough to video him reading it...such a great memory. Addy is the cutest!

Oh, I just remembered, my favorite page was "frustrated" because of the way Mason would say "frustrated" and then he would wrinkle up his face like he was, well, frustrated...sorry, enough about my kid, this is about Addy and she is awesome!

So I have to admit that I don't usually watch videos on blogs, but that was so darling! I love her little voice.

That is so cute! I like what you've added to the book, and Addy makes it sound even cuter. "you make me mad".
