Μια βόλτα στην παραλία

Τις προάλλες το απόγευμα, και αφού είχαμε περάσει τη μέρα φωτογραφίζοντας για το καινούριο blog της Νάσιας, πέρασε η Μαρία και μας πήρε με το αυτοκίνητο για να πάμε τα σκυλάκια βόλτα στην παραλία. Όπως ήδη θα ξέρετε εγώ δεν έχω σκύλο, αλλά έχουν οι Νάσια και η Μαρία από δύο, οπότε ήμασταν μεγάλη παρέα. 

  

 Όλοι βραχήκαμε λίγο - πολύ, και είχε πλάκα αν και το νερό ήταν κρύο! Η μαυρούλα εδώ από κάτω που βουτούσε για το μπαλάκι είναι η Πατούσα, ενώ δεν κατάφερα να βγάλω μερικά γοητετυικά πορτρέτα τη Σουζάνα. Μπορεί να θυμάστε ίσως τη Λολίτα που καμαρώνει στον βράχο, καθώς και τον Παρούλη από εδώ, εδώ και εδώ! Μάλλον πλέον θα τους βλέπετε συχνότερα εδώ στο blog.

Παρά το κρύο νερό, πήραμε μια γεύση από καλοκαίρι... αλλά ανυπομονώ να αρχίσουμε τα αληθινά μπάνια και τα παγωτά. Σε άλλα νέα, τώρα τελευταία έχω αρχίσει να τραβάω ξανά φωτογραφίες, καθώς για κάποιο λόγο είχα εγκαταλείψει για λίγο το σπορ. δεν βοηθούσε βέβαια το ότι χάλασε ο υπολογιστής μου και δεν μπορούσα να τις δω/αποθηκεύσω με άνεση. Σύντομα ελπίζω να έχω έναν καινούρο υπολογιστή για να μπορώ να κάνω τη δουλειά μου κανονικά και ίσως να ποστάρω εδώ συχνότερα.

Γυρίζοντας σπίτι φωτογράφισα τον Μιουμς, ένα καινούριο αρκουδάκι που έπλεξα και σκοπεύω να βάλω στο Etsy shop μου μαζί με άλλα καλοκαιρινά αξεσουάρ, σας δείχνω στα κλεφτά μια του φωτογραφία:

Photo Review: lately

Only few days ago ended the two week holiday break, that we had, and like I've been expected, the days flew faster than the wind.

Of course there are more photos, with traditional Greek Easter scenery and some celebration cakes (shhh secrets), but these above are my favorite ones that remind me of my relaxing time. I'm probably having an artist's block for a while now, while trying to maintain calmness in the craze of my weeks that keep flying away, but hopefully creativity will find its way to my door :)

Summer love

Hello!!

How are you? (have you seen the new blogger's dashboard?) and how was your summer? Mine was terrific! Some weeks ago I visited my sweet cousins at Aigina island! We did some catch up, we cooked together, laughed, swim, rest by the sea, had a blast!!!  We did enjoy some mornings with a cup of coffee and chocolate croissant. nom nom! Aaaand we did some knitting by the sea! As you already know, Marietta and I, like to crochet or knit anywhere (literally at any place!) One place I haven't tried before, and was found out to be pretty awesome, was the beach!!

My younger cousin wanted to learn how to knit, and I was more than happy to show her, while it happened that among the sunscreen and the underwater masks, we've packed needles and yarn. The scenery was ideal and so.... we started knitting lessons at the beach! It was a little crazy but most of all relaxing!

what's your top 5 strangest places you've ever tried knitting or crocheting?

The perfect photos of me and my younger cousin Marietta (yes they have the same name with my sister Marietta) were shot by my older cousin Marina, a very talented architect and bon viver! Thanks for everything girls! Now that I am back in Athens I'm trying to enjoy myself until I get back to the crazy life of autumn. Double Crochets will soon start meeting again in Athens and new projects are about to begin!! Wherever you are, find some time, grab your needles or hooks, choose a nice pattern and let's spread the thread! September is here, autumn is at the door, we'll soon be wearing socks, warm pullovers and drinking hot tea while we knit! But summer isn't totally over yet!! let's keep some summer in our hearts!
