"Always In My Heart" and a year of changing Eila

Hi ya!

If you'd rather go straight to the 8 x 8 canvas I am sharing today, scroll down past the photos of myself!

Not exactly back to school but back to work! honestly, I have no clue where time flew! feels like yesterday I had my first day of vacation and pooff! it just vanished.

I have spent many days on purging my stash again, cleaning out and sorting stuff. Moved the furniture around in the nook and voilà! feels really good to have the light come in differently with an open space behind my back towards the computer station. While the steam was up, we also cleaned out our basement. How about 7 packing boxes of photos from almost a life time shrinking into 1,5!

The weather has been rather foul but hey! one can do lots of stuff even if it's chucking it down outside. We did have some fabulous days with sun though and made several absolutely wonderful outings outside Stockholm. Sharing some piccies here.

I started our vacay by cutting my hair in a shorter style, kept behind my ears.

Over this year, I have embarked on a healther lifestyle.

Changing my eating habits and exercising every day. I have
also given my body some special, highly
concentrated vitamin and mineral supplements.
The result is -13 kg or 2 dress sizes and an Eila
brimming with energy.

For the first time in my entire life, I have actually
run on the treadmill! unthinkable a year ago.
Proves it is never too late to do something!

Hubbs and me on one of our outings.
Raining like it did almost the whole of July.

So this is me, I'm 56 years old and damned proud of the
woman I am! Silver threads in my hair, and
crow's feet around my eyes but it's me.
Full of life and happy!

And now to the 8 x 8 canvas, the third and last of the 3 I created with this gorgeous young lady - this one is called "Always in My Heart ". It is now mounted in a black shadowbox.

I won the papers from Elena Morgun on Facebook earlier this year.
The collection is called "The Sweetest Thing" and
it certainly is so pretty with its romantic details of
flora and fauna. Just my cup of tea!

Stencilling, misting and stamping. Layering fussy cutting.

Stashraided Prima embellies and newer bitty Prima blooms.

And that's it!

Thanks so much for coming by, I really appreciate it!

Lots of love,

xox Eila
