Human Skull Projects

I've finished two new human skull projects. I really like this museum or curiosity look.

 

This sliced skull opens and closes. 

 

The center piece is stationary, the other two have a wide range of movement. 

 

This hinged skull also opens and is hollow inside. Perfect for storing tiny treasures!

 

 

I have some new wand designs and a few commissions I'm working on now. It will probably be a couple of weeks before my next post.

Dragon Skull Finished

Got back home and finished the Dragon Skull. I really like how it came out but next one I make, I'll have to make some adjustments to so that it opens easier.

I definitely see the potential and want to make more dragon skulls, but I'm working on two other human skull projects at the moment.

I also have some wand sets from old designs. I'll post these on Etsy.

Traveling...

Well, I'm traveling for about 10 days. I have to travel quite a bit for work now. It's fun but inconvenient sometimes. I won't be able to post the completed dragon skull or anything else until I get back.

And thank you everyone for the comments on the dragon skull! It's not a commission piece. A few people had asked me for dragon skulls a while back and I figured it was about time to take a crack at it. I might make a few more when I get back, we'll have to wait and see.

Dragon Skull: Work in progress...

I've been traveling and finishing up some old designs that I had laying around. Here's one of those old designs I never got around to:

I still have to make the bottom jaw and do some of the finishing details.

I have some other skulls I'm working on and some old half finished wand designs as well. I'll try to put some pictures of those out this weekend.

New Wand and Stand

It's really great to hear from everyone! So glad to be back.

As promised, here is one of my new ideas that I just finished up. I made the wand a while back, it's design is very simple, so I decided to make an elaborate wand stand to go with it. I added a few accessories to give it that extra something.

I'm Back!

Hi everyone, I've been away for a while taking a much needed break. I'm back now and ready to get going again. I worked on a few things while I was gone, here is one item that took me a while:

A customer provided the shelving and I filled it with wand boxes. It's for a wand shop. The shelving covers a back wall behind the checkout counter. That's over 100 boxes! All painted and shaded, each one it's own masterpiece.

 

I have lots of new ideas and some old favorites that I'll be working on over the next few weeks. I posted some left over inventory on Etsy today to make room for new work. Be sure to check it out and grab your favorite before it's gone! I'm also reconstructing my website. It's been down for a while and I'm almost ready to publish the new site, probably in the next couple of weeks as well.

 

I'm really excited to be back and can't wait to get some of my new ideas out for you to see! Stay tuned! :-)
