One Litre of Tears

Okay, i chionged the drama within half a day and only managed to sleep at 7 plus in the morning. surprisingly (!!!!!) i only cried twice in the whole serial. first when she was standing outside the class and got betrayed by her classmates and when she died.

pple are telling me they cried every single episode but i didnt! i think i yawned more than i cried but not because the show is boring but i am really tired. but then but then, i persevere till 7am to complete the show despite my tiredness!

the show is more of inspiring than touching i think. only when a person is unable to do things which other pple can easily do, then they will begin to appreciate it. her optimistic attitude is something i would want to learn all over again. if i am the one who got the disease, i don't think i have the courage to live the way she did at all.

anyway, i was shuffling between 1 litre of tears and hana kimi yesterday. but i think hana kimi abit draggy leh although i am at episode 2 only. hahahahaha (think kim n the rest killing me soon). oh ya oh ya what i love about both the shows is tt the dogs are DAMN CUTE! i love ganmo! :D

having a bbq later. officially i will be unable to talk after tonight. i had 3 bbq in 1 week! omgggggggggg... all the best to me.

i got 6 blisters and i spent $160 today.

my blisters cost $95. cuz i bought birkenstock for my pooor feet. yes my sisters scolded me upside down for wasting money. i know i will be scolded and i am still feeling guilty about it. fine, scold me. scold scold scold.

i am so bothered about it now. i spent closed to $500 this month on gifts. but for the $400 i spent on my family, i spent it very very willingly. but they scolded me for the $95 i spent on myself this xmas.

haiz! and stupid me why must i feel guilty!! i must learn to buy things for myself.


but come to think of it, i think i am abit too harsh to spent $95. however, you cannot blame a person in high heels with 6 blisters. birkenstock is right infront of you and it is so comfortable.

2.55am

had a blast just now with my cousins, relatives and sister's friends over at my house and the park behind my house. we organised a mini gathering cum xmas celebration after years of hesitation.. hahaha.

we were really worried that it will rain tonight cuz for the past few days, we've witnessed the highest rainfall in 70 years and flooding in thomson, orchard and in many parts of singapore. we even prepared a bbq pit and deep fryer along our corridor in case in rains. haha, but luckily our worry did not occur at all. instead, the weather was very cooling and perfect for a bbq!

i woke up at 10.30am (unwillingly) cuz someone was knocking and shouting at my doorstep. it was a delivery man from far east flora. my sister's boyfriend got her a bouquet of flowers and a very cute bear. so sweeeet lah! wonder when will be my turn *sigh* hahaha

and i vacumned, mopped the floor, put up the decorations for the xmas tree, cleaned the tables and chairs, went bedok to buy seafood for bbq, took out the intestines of the prawns, fried some food, marinating the stuff, entertaining the guests, numbering the gifts, bringing kids up and down to drink yakult, getting suan by my young cousin who thought that i got dumped when i chatted with him that day which my boss asked me to work over at the factory, trying to get the fire started. everything and anything except EATING. i really forgot to eat and i felt so hungry 30 mins ago that i actually cooked maggi!

although the whole family is very tired, we are glad that everyone enjoyed themselves! sorry to those whom i didn't really chat with you cuz i was trying to help my mum and sisters. but i'm sure all of you will understand right! oh ya, the best thing is that while we were enjoying ourselves at the bbq, orchard and east coast are raining cats and dogs. after our bbq, around 12am, my area rained quite heavily! we are reeeeeally lucky! :D

anyway, i wish everyone a merry xmas and may 2007 be a much better one for all of us! as this is a season of love, i wish that everyone will be blessed and showered with lots of hugs and love! tell your loved ones how much you love them if not they will never know! :)

my colleague told me a phrase that he would use to describe me. it was a chinese idiom which i dont really know the exact meaning but i can roughly predict that it is "a cold person when you never approach the person before, but a heartwarming person when we know each other." ok, in conclusion, i am very quiet/introverted.

then i told him, i am not that quiet in nature, quite rubbish and lame (as all of you know). ti is because of OFFICE POLITICS. i dont want to be so talkative and be very high profile cuz you know, office can be very superficial and fake. i don't wish to be involved at all, and i also don't want to say the wrong things at wrong time. so, keep quiet lor. i'm sorry if i'm too quiet but i enjoy the peace.

anyway i haven't bought the gift exchange present! i only bought the rubbish gift! wahahahaha.. this sat there's a bbq and i haven't prepare for the gift exchange too! arghhh... although i am like shopping everyday but i've been buying things for my family! arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

i am very broke lor. luckily 150 is ka-ching-ing into my account. hehehe. oh ya, although my colleagues who went to japan is supposed to resume work today, i think my supervisor will take"mc" and disappear for 2 days one lor. but nvm, she never come i'm more free wahahahahaa :D everyday throw thigs for me to do while she watch video/learn jap etc etc. kns.

i drank too much coffee that i'm having a headache now. hais, i grew fatter leh anyway due to the sampling test for potato chips! arghhh... i don dare to weigh myself.

5.32pm office.

woo! i think most of you might not know my work schedule but usually from 5-7pm, i am the busiest - cuz the loading and orders are all faxed into the office and my mountain of photocopying and distributing begins. well well how come i can have the time to even blog now?

cuz my department are only left with 2 person (excluding me, initially 5) cuz 3 went japan! but today, the manager did not come so yeahhh i'm free as a bird! however tml i will be left with all the stuff which 1 of the collegue must complete, plus some ad-hoc things by another collegue. but whatever, i will only think abt it tml! :D

oh yaaa, i was so damn angry at 1 bitch in office on monday lah. how come all the pple with that name i don like huh? is it some kind of curse? but anyway, she was at the photocopier just 5 mins ago and i was walking to the recep (i had to pass the photocopier) and both of us did not give way to each other at all. our shoulder just brushed across each other! pls lor, i nv exert alot of strength cuz she just had an accident. count herself lucky. i actually rebutted her in office cuz she was scolding a 16 yr old girl and the girl was so helpless. wth. anyway i think i become even more introverted and hot-tempered after working in office, worse than what i encountered in mj!

aiyah but whatever i am paid so just do my job. regardless of what happen, i will only diao/rebut those who really irritate me to the max. so far got 2 bitches (coincidentally are best frens too) who i really cannot see eye to eye. but the bitch who i brushed my shoulder with is more sickening. lalalala~~~~

FIRST DAY OF WORK

i always thought that 9-6.30pm is so so so long............................ (imagine having lessons from 9 to 6.30 and only 1 break. moreover u don't have friends to bitch to)

BUT TODAY IT IS PROVEN WRONG. time pass SO DAMN FAST cuz there is SO MUCH THINGS TO LEARN AND DO. omg. i was really stressful in the morning cuz everything is so so so foreign to me. and 1 mistake i make might cost millions......................

and i had to open my eyes real big to check the details on the puny (and slow windows 98 comp). there isn't any msn and i don have time for it either. day 1 and i've learnt alot alot alot of things. luckily the people are very very nice (except for the big shot who tease/shoot me during the interview. sickening i sit right beside him).

i don't even dare to breathe loudly.

i was so stressed in the morning that when my dear papa, who is known to heck care, called me at lunch time twice (cuz i nv picked up the first time) and asked "eh u eat already or not? want to eat with me? come lah eat with me don eat alone"

OMG I WAS ON THE VERGE TO CRY CAN. very very badly. even when i'm typing this i feel like crying. awwww my papa is so so sweet. scared tt his dear little daughter will starve (this shld be his last prob judging on the amt of junk i eat at home). SOBS SOBS PAPA I LOVE YOU. thus, i think i am joining him for lunch everyday!

1. was digging for my skirt for 15 mins.
2. off to hougang mall to meet edward lee
3. off to wingtai warehouse sale
4. bought a long sleeve nike for $13 and edward's auntie refused to accept my money.
5. rachel meet my sis to take the 2 tickets
6. met rach on the bus. so now i have 10 tickets.
7. reached tamp. waiting for cab and someone scolded us 'siao'
8. i scolded back
9. took the cab to max pavilion
10. queue damn long. almost went to queue for city harvest's instead.
11. met my sister's friend who wanted 5 tickets.
12. couldnt meet kim's fren to give her the extra ticket i've got.
13. went in with 2 extra tickets.
14. look for kim and tina to pass them the album and camera (since they are sitting on VIP seats)
15. chionged to the front and grabbed a seat
16. took dumb photos while waiting for fish leong
17. yeah! start le. so qingqing mv first.

23. too hungry, so decided to go fish&co at airport.
24. kim's pouch was inside rach's bag. so had to meet at station control
25. chionged to fish&co, eliza the supervisor is there!
26. ordered seafood platter. when it is served, we couldnt started cuz we had no forks/spoons
27. the food turned cold in 5 mins cuz aircon was so damn strong. yay my long sleeve can finally come to use!
28. so nice, so kept eating.
29. dessert on the house by eliza! very very yummy hot fudge with ice cream cake!
30. bill. $33. so cheap. plus many many sweets.
31. chionged out of fish&co cuz too cold. reminise about the past regarding mr michael. talked about guowei's and jinpei's english composition.

guowei: because 1 part of the shirt the guy was wearing got hook on to dunno what, by the time the guy reached his destination, his shirt is gone, WITHOUT FEELING ANYTHING. (title of the essay: the most embarassing encounter. i think how mr michael teased guowei shld be the most embarrassing)

not forgetting.. the always-the-same transparencies he used for us to practise oral.. according to them, got old folks learning how to fold laterns and science centre. of cuz, i couldnt remb any except the one edward and i laughed so loudly when everyone was thinking what to say.

yay! there are 3 accomplishment today that i am proud of.

1st. i am employed! (but $6/hr.. :<)
2nd. i helped my fren to dye his hair and it is a success! (cuz mine is not)
3rd. i finished watching it started with a kiss!

well, abt getting employed i am quite happy cuz $$ is coming!! hehe.. but well, i have to sacrifice my youtube time as well as sleeping.. but for the sake of cold hard cash, i'll just bear with the boredom! then dye hair tt part leh.. i think i'm going to salon this sunday (according to my sis it is going to be a jap hairstylist. but as all of you know, i am super cheapo, if it is too exp i wont do it).

but the major part of my entry today is going to be dedicated to the show - it started with a kiss! yeah quite a nice show, although abit draggy (taiwan 20 episodes, japanese 9 episodes) but the wedding part is SWEET! omg they kissed for so long! xiang qin is so dumb and cute! i think that actress (ariel lin) is really a good actress lor, can really act until so dumb. hahaha. as for joe cheng, he's cool but when i watched the NGs, omg his laughter is as gross as mine! hahaha.. but well, still not bad lah!

i went for job interview today. today i must say i am quite lucky because since monday, i have been sending my resume to 6-7 agencies and today, within 5 minutes i received a call from the agency.

she called me at 3pm, hoping that i will be able to reach shenton way at 4.30pm to their agency to take down my particulars and then make it in time to aljunied at 5.15pm for my interivew. WADADA! i made it all in time, or i should say earlier WITHOUT TAKING CAB. the one at shenton way is hard to find, and since i don have any sense of direction the journey was even more challenging then i've thought.

well, i finally found the building and i am supposed to go to th 17th floor. wth i took the lift it don't bring me to 17th floor, all floors except 17th! *(#^@*&#^*%&# as you know i am very scared to take lift, i had to go back to B1 and take another lift to bring me to 17th. yay i finally reached and guess what, i forgot to bring my IC although the girl reminded me to. SHIT MAN IT WAS IN MY PENCIL CASE. but the girl is very nice, they took my disgusting looking bus pass instead. hahahahaa.

before i left, i am supposed to fill in the application form for the job. there is a section on YOUR STRENGTH AND YOUR WEAKNESS. well, that section was the last i filled (it was 5 pages long) and because i was rushing for time (by the time it was already 4.40pm i need to reach aljunied at 5.15pm), i anyhow write lor. hahahaha. PLEASE, I AM REMINDING YOU, NOT TO FOLLOW MY FOOTSTEP. i wrote "might get easily confused at times, but i will clarify doubts if i have any".

why they shoot me leh? it is because they are a listed company, dealing with f&b, if i get employed i am supposed to check shipment dates and quality check. what do i mean by quality check, according to the girl, i am supposed to test taste all their coffee products, meaning to drink different types of coffee everyday. bleah i hope i don get diahorrea. so when the guy (big shot) saw my "weakness", he said "umm, this is tricky and risky. imagine the customer wants 10 cartons of chocolates, you report 10 cartons of coffee. how?"

me: *keep quiet and smile* "but i will make sure i clarify everything before i pass down any message."

the guy: "ya, but you must understand we cannot give you 1 yr to clarify everything"

me: *thinking* wth wtf *&amp;^#*@&%#&% hahahaha

what the fark they use this sentence to shoot me in the whole interview upon reaching their office. arghhh. they will call me tml to check if i'm EMPLOYED. hahahaha. i doubt i will get it lah anyway. but i learn something today and hope to share with all of you looking for jobs, THINK ABOUT YOUR STRENGTH AND WEAKNESS, and think of positive stuff that won't do you any damage!

anyway, i'm off to play badminton and change my phone. it died on me today. sian please ask your relative/friends not to be deceived by hp by its cover. i am a very good example.

i spent my first slack day watching youtube WITHOUT FEELING GUILTY on friday midnight. i watched all the way from 1am to 8am. the first one i watched was reaching for the stars (the one s.h.e acted) and omg i cannot believe when i actually cried in 1 episode! bleahs! but i think tt episode is quite touching. the rest the plot n acting abit cannot make it. anyway i think i am really good to finish 1 series in 7 hours wahahaha.

oh ya i did pack my stuff yesterday. i tried to clear as much as i can but i didnt discard any notes at all. but i think again, do i really need the notes? if io fail my A's i wont retake it cuz i don't want to go through the same agony again. how huh? did u guys discard them away?
