At Sticks and String, your time is yours.
Want to fill your days with new skills and insights? We have that!
Want to have fun with some silly games? We have that!
Prefer to spend your time chatting and laughing with friends? That's cool too!
In order to offer an enjoyable retreat experience for all, we ask that young children not be brought into the ballroom (other than for a brief oooh and aaah period).
There will be no community snack table. However, you may bring snacks to share with those at your table. There is no alcohol allowed in the banquet room.
WANT MORE GRAND PRIZE TICKETS? You are automatically entered for each day you join us for the Sit and Knit, Crochet, Weave or Spin (i.e. if you are joining us Friday, Saturday and Sunday, you are entered three times.) Please write your name on your prize tickets.
AND! You'll get another prize ticket for participating in the Fashion Parade. Save time and ensure accuracy -- print and fill out your forms in advance.
AND! Bring any of the items listed on the Charity Project page in exchange for an extra ticket.

AND! Saturday and Sunday only. There will be a Bring and Take table for yarn (full or nearly full skeins) you wish to let go of or just isn't talking to you anymore. Someone else might have the perfect project for that recalcitrant fiber! If you have multiple skeins of the same yarn, please bag the skeins together. You don't have to bring yarn to take something from the table and you don't have to take anything from the table. Everything on the table is Free to a Good Home!
AND! Bring your black name badge holder from previous years or purchase one this year.
ALL DEMOS AND ACTIVITIES are free, except chair massages (which are $25/15 minutes).
NOTE: All prizes must be claimed by the end of the retreat. No prizes will be mailed to winners.
