RBMA（Red Bull Music Academy）在倫敦之眼車廂內另一組是正致力於Bass Music融合Chicago House、UK Garage發展的格拉斯哥廠牌Numbers的Jackmaster和Deadboy的B2B演出錄音。

The RBMA World Tour culminated its circumnavigation of the globe by taking over the biggest ferris wheel in Europe, the London Eye. In each of the 30 capsules, crucially influential producers, DJs and bands presented the latest in upfront London sounds making waves around the globe. Giving Londoners a unique chance to musically travel around the world, just as the Academy has done, from seismic bass to lover’s rock - in the blink of a London Eye. A thoroughbred entertainer and impeccable selector, Jackmaster's sets range from bass to boogie, raw Chicago house to 80s wedding classics. No wonder he was just named "Best Breakthrough DJ" by DJ Mag. Here Jackmaster is teaming up with his Numbers labelmate Deadboy who has been stirring things up with his bass drenched invasion of the borderlands between house and UK garage. This set comes from the Hessle Audio label crew featuring Ben UFO, Pangaea and Pearson Sound. Ben UFO has gone from queuing up at London's FWD>> to becoming a figurehead of the scene in just a few years. Together with Pangaea and Pearson Sound (formerly known as Ramadanman) he runs Hessle Audio. The label has done much to avoid the forensic genrefication of dubstep, working the ever thinning borderlines with dubbed out techno and deep house. Heavy Rotation, right here on RBMA Radio.

上星期四晚上RBMA（Red Bull Music Academy）在倫敦之眼所舉辦的活動，當晚集結非常多組Dubstep、Bass Music、Grime、UK Funky和UK Garage等類型DJ在不同的倫敦之眼車廂內當作舞台同一時間進行演出，有幸參與的人可進入車廂內與DJ一同Party，而遠在天邊如我就只能就守在網路前面聽著RBMA當晚的同步串流播放。
下面可先聽的是來自車廂之一BBC Radio 1的Benji B現場DJ搭上弦樂四重奏的精彩錄音。

The RBMA World Tour culminated its circumnavigation of the globe by taking over the biggest ferris wheel in Europe, the London Eye. In each of the 30 capsules, crucially influential producers, DJs and bands presented the latest in upfront London sounds making waves around the globe. Giving Londoners a unique chance to musically travel around the world, just as the Academy has done, from seismic bass to lover’s rock - in the blink of a London Eye. This set comes from London club staple Deviation, featuring Benji B and special guest. Benji is on the final frontier of new sounds as they happen, bouncing beats off satellite dishes around the globe, with exclusive, pre-fresh, just-beamed-in cuts. He's been making sure people can hear those tracks as they were intended to, dropping his monthly Deviation Sessions with proper sound. His list of guests over the past years reads like a who's who of producers and vocalists pushing the envelope and delivering the goods. In the pod Benji B was accompanied by the Siren String Quartet. 錯過由Boiler Room轉播本週一晚上（英國當地中午）由RED BULL MUSIC ACADEMY帶來的MAJOR LAZER AT NOTTING HILL CARNIVAL這場活動嗎，其中一段是自己覺得在當前最重要最該注目的焦點鐵定是由Oneman（502/Rinse FM）和Jackmaster（Numbers/Rinse FM）當天兩人B2B所帶來的精彩DJ Set，而在開頭由Jessie Ware登台唱她幫SBTRKT獻聲的Nervous一曲中唱到MAJOR LAZER I'm Nervous真是諷刺（有看當天MAJOR LAZER的整個DJ Set的話，你會瞭解），總之當天Oneman B2B Jackmster的DJ Set實況可在下方RMBA Radio播放器上Rewind。

從Hyperdub轉籍至Warp後，倫敦Dubstep duo樂隊Darkstar的消息的確是少了許多，但還是不減自己對於他們的興趣，RBMA也在稍早前將他們在六月初於西班牙巴塞隆那舉行的Primavera Sound 2011中的Live給錄下。

去年底開始陸續由Oneman（502 Recordings/Rinse FM）、Jackmaster（Numbers.）、James Blake（R&S/Hemlock Recordings/Hessle Audio）以及Benji B（BBC Radio1/Deviation）等DJ在各自的DJ Set或節目裡播放了Unknown — Sicko Cell這首唱著im the information....cocaine powder的神祕單曲，當大家都在猜測這首單曲的幕後Producer到底是誰的時候，Dummy在幾天前給了下列10名嫌疑人名單：

在聽了RBMA Radio的Loefah（DMZ三巨頭與Mala、Coki同期的Dubstep Producer/DJ）錄自於Tectonic's 'Scientist Launches Dubstep Into Outer Space' session at Fabric, London下面這段Live DJ Set以及自己的一些側面調查，種種跡象顯示Sicko Cell這首單曲應該就是由Loefah製作，而應該是交由Loefah自己的廠牌Swamp81廠牌來發行但發行日期應該還有的等。

Jackmaster Live Set from Sónar festival 2010

Young UK DJ/producer and Numbers label co-conspirator Jack "Jackmaster" Revill graced last week's Sónar festival in Barcelona with a stellar mix of the many kinds of bass music and future-house tunes propagated by his insanely talented cohorts. As with the DJ set Braiden dropped at the electronic music festival, Red Bull Music Academy was on the scene and recording Jackmaster's deck magic for the event—catching every brilliant tune and slick mix the DJ pushed out of the soundsystem. We've got the recording from his live performance at SónarDome as an exclusive stream for one week, and it's embedded below along with a tracklist. Enjoy. [via XLR8R]
