最早是透過了Bonobo的單曲Eyesdown初次聽到了騷靈女歌手Andreya Triana的歌聲，進而在Bonobo的專輯Black Sands續唱了The Keeper、Stay The Same這兩首單曲，後來在Gilles Peterson的節目裡也是還蠻常出現Andreya Triana的名字，這一切都只是為了她簽入Ninja Tune將發行個人專輯做鋪路？，果不其然在Andreya Triana的首張單曲Lost Where I Belong.裡我們看到了Flying Lotus為她特製的混音加持，很快的Andreya Triana跟單曲同名的專輯Lost Where I Belong.就將要在8月發行，而一路提攜她的Bonobo成為她的專輯製作人這點也不令人意外，而比較讓自己更為期待的是剛聽聞Mount Kimbie將會以唯一指定混音的身分出現在Andreya Triana專輯正式發行前的第二張單曲A Town Called Obsolete內。

Mount Kimbie產自英國由Dominic Maker & Kai Campos合組的Live-Dubstep duo毋庸置疑兩人早已是Dubstep圈中的炙手可熱的新銳製作人，出自MK之手的混音目前雖只有The xx - Basic Space、The Big Pink - Velvet、LV & Untold - Beacon以及最近的Foals - Spanish Sahara，產量不多但每次出手都相當亮眼，09年開始在Scuba自營廠牌Hotflush Recordings下陸續發行過Maybes EP、Sketch On Glass EP以及收錄有James Blake、FaltyDL、Instra:Mental、Tama Sumo & Prosumer、SCB這幾組單位集結Maybes EP和Sketch On Glass EP兩張單曲的混音版本而來的Remixes Pt.1＆Remixes Pt.2等四張單曲，Mount Kimbie昨日已透過幾個重點網站發佈將於7月中發表的專輯Crooks & Lovers的封面及曲目的相關消息，而我相信Mount Kimbie的這首專輯Crooks & Lovers絕對會是今年所有發行裡的TOP。
這裡也率先發佈一首收錄在專輯內的全新單曲Field下載。

This Orient來自Foals第二張專輯Total Life Forever內的第二支發行單曲，上一支單曲Spanish Sahara找來Mount Kimbie已經美的不像話，這次找來Starkey更是不得了，我自己是這麼認為啦，This Orient將在5/3發行。

Mount Kimbies找來五組Dubstep producer有FaltyDL、James Blake、Instra:Mental、Tama Sumo & Prosumer、SCB準備將09年於Scuba自家廠牌Hotflush發行過的兩張單曲Maybes、Sketch On Glass從中挑出五首來各自製作混音版本，將會收錄在4月底發行的兩張EP Remixes Part 1 & Remixes Part 2內，自己真的是非常愛Mount Kimbies這兩人單位，尤其是今年他們幫LV & Untold在三月發行的單曲Beacon內所製作的混音版本直接是入主我當月最佳單曲，當然在自己的Mixtape裡都會放上Mount Kimbies的音樂或是混音。
下面的試聽各來自Remixes Part 1裡由紐約Dubstep Producer FaltyDL與英國隸屬於Hemlock Recordings的James Blake兩人的混音版本。

每個星期聽Mary Anne Hobbs的節目都讓自己獲益良多，真的對於她所介紹的每一首單曲都愛不釋手，上週依舊是相當精彩所以自己特別從節目中切割了其中兩首，其他的曲目請自行前往BBC Radio 1去慢慢體會。

The xx早首專輯xx一個星期發行的單曲Basic Space也確定了會發行7"與12"的兩種Format，在7"部份的B-side曲收錄了一首舊歌Blood Red Moon的Demo版本，而在12"裡收錄的則是6首混音版本分別交由Micachu & The Shapes、diskJokke、Astronomer、Sampha、Pariah和Jamie xx of The xx等的混音曲（這是在Boomkat上看到的曲目），但是在Rough Trade的網站上看到有Mount Kimbie的混音就讓我就迷糊了不知誰正確，不過我想最特別的是在Rough Trade上會賣另一限量100張白廠牌應該只收錄Basic Space - Jamie xx Remix這首的12"（但我看不懂得是這句“at 33 it's an atmospheric cold blast of slo mo beat trickery. put it on 45 and it turns into a 6am dancefloor burner.“）是說它可以用33和45兩種轉速來播放？總之此單曲已拍攝好Video可看了。
