約莫一、兩個月前Boddika在其個人的RA DJ Chat上選了Dusky這組UK House duo的forthcoming單曲Flo Jam為他的Top 10之一後應該沒有人會不期待這首炙熱單曲，稍早前Dusky也宣佈將在4月底正式將它發行。
同時Dusky也上傳一首將聯同Flo Jam一併收錄在內的Garage House新曲Every Day的兩分鐘Preview。

This producer seems to go up in our estimations with every release, this time making a direct derivé between the shadows of Detroit House and New York Garage to really cut loose in beautiful style. From the hyper-jittery garage flex of the title track the pace is dropped and the groove ramped with the Actress-style Detroit shimmer of 'Face Up (To Your Sensibilities)', squashing a fat square bassline under psyched-tae-f**k disco-soul vocals. Over on the flip the vibe switches gear again with a skippin' Todd Edwards bustle ruffed-up with the kinda scuffed samples and arrangement you'd expect from a Rick Wilhite track, while 'Cake, Biscuits and How's Yer Father' tips out on a seductively swirling garage lean with hints of Zomby and Blue Daisy. Don't miss out on this, it's an absolute winner for anyone with their head in the future garage/house clouds. Highly Recommended. [via Boomkat]

This Monday’s FACT mix is a light-footed journey through house, techno, garage and dubstep from one of our favourite current artists, Manchester’s xxxy.
Xxxy, real name Rupert Taylor, came to our attention with the snaking house of ‘Sing with Us’, featured on Fabric’s Elevator Music compilation alongside music from Untold, Mosca and more. Taylor seems to get better with each release, the recent ‘Know You’ and ‘Blue Flashing Lights’ (featured on a split infrasonics 12” with Ike Release) glorious rollers that haven’t left the FACT DJ’s bags since their release, and he helped fill up one of our busiest Lock Tavern sessions to date alongside Guido and Ramadanman this July.
His FACT mix rolls through gently swinging vocal house and garage, before turning its attention to busier UK cuts, including recent favourites from Hackman, Pariah, Breach and Julio Bashmore. It climaxes on one of the tracks of the year, Hyetal’s dazzling ‘Phoenix’. [via FACT]

從去年到現在都持續關注的倫敦年輕producer/DJ Deadboy，每次的發行（單曲、混音、Mixtape、Podcast）自然是不會放過也都聽不釋耳，今年不久前在Number發行的If U Want Me其實早在去年發行單曲U Cheated的同時已是眾多DJ的必放之大熱單曲，而最新單曲本月在Brighton的Well Rounded廠牌發行的Cash Antics Vol. 1則是加入很多的R&B的東西進去，在混音製作方面先前有Julio Bashmore以及大家比較認識的Delphic，最近則是作嫁了Andy Bell（Erasure）、Everything Everything和Foals的單曲混音。
說起Foals的第二張專輯Total Life Forevers那真的是新世紀以來少見的能在第二張專輯好聽度能超越第一張專輯的少數樂隊之一，在Total Life Forevers發行前的首支單曲Spanish Sahara提供Free Download曝光和找來倫敦新血Live Electronic組合Mount Kimbie替其混音也增色不少，然後在最新單曲This Orient裡找了很多單位如Starkey、Mosca、Kieran Hebden（Four Tet這次以本名登場）、Warrior One、Chad Valley、Astronomer前來製作混音，而我相當佩服英國這些人總是能很精準的掌握時下脈動邀來這些當下該注意的角色。
下面試聽放上Spanish Sahara交由Deadboy的混音版本是目前並未列在Foals的官方發行裡，事實上將來會不會發行也還不清楚，或者是收錄在什麼限量精裝版本裡也說不定。
