Burial + Four Tet + Thom Yorke Forthcoming on TEXT Records

Kieran Hebden（Four Tet）即將在自己的廠牌Text Records底下發行一張收錄有A. Burial - Ego / AA. Four Tet + Thom Yorke（Radiohead）- Mirror的12"單曲，而在稍候的英國時間3/15的晚上11點到凌晨1點Four Tet和Floating Points將會上Rinse FM B2B並將首播這張12"的兩首曲目。

如果和我一樣有注意Gilles Peterson（BBC Radio 1）近其在節目裡的歌單，那你大概會留意到Rocketnumbernine這一組來自倫敦Electronica/Jazz duo，已在本週發行了交由Kieran Hebden aka Four Tet製作的首張單曲Matthew and Toby，早些時候前曾po過了原曲試聽在本小blog裡，下面的新試聽來自於收錄在B-Sdie也是由Four Tet進行混音的Club Version。

Rocketnumbernine toured the UK with me earlier this year and they were playing this track every night. Each night the performances were getting more and more intense and blowing mine and the crowds minds. By the end of the tour I knew we had to go into the studio and get a great recording made of Matthew and Toby. We recorded all analogue to get the sound right and if you buy this on vinyl you will have a recording that has never touched a computer, which I think is the way it needs to be done sometimes. I’ve done a remix for the b-side… more of a club version.
I discovered Rocketnumbernine through Steve Reid who was great friends with the drummer from the band, Tom Page, and you can hear Steve’s influence and spirit in this music without doubt. Steve passed away just a couple of weeks before we made this recording and we have dedicated it to his memory.

德國Minimal Techno音樂家Pantha du Prince在上月初於Rough Trade發行了他第三張專輯Black Noise，輯內一曲找來Panda Bear（Noah Lennox of Animal Collective）擔任聲優的Stick to My Side將抽取出作為專輯的第二支單曲並定於本月中旬發行，而收錄在Stick to My Side的混音單位將有Efdemin、Lawrence、Four Tet以及限Digital下載才能取得Carsten Jost & Efdemin和Wall這兩組共五首混音版本；這裡也暫時先取得到交由Four Tet所進行操刀的版本供試聽。

才剛於月初發行全新12"單曲Love Cry的Four Tet，即將在月底發行另一張12" Love Cry (Remixes)找來了現今當紅兩種樂風裡的重點人物Roska（UK Funky）& Joy Orbison（Dubstep）來製作混音版本，相當令人期待，特地錄下昨日Four Tet在上BBC Radio 1 Gilles Peterson的節目裡提供Joy Orbison的混音版本作全球首播來試聽而且還算相當完整。
