Better News

Bella woke up doing much better. We think she is finally starting to turn around. Her fever only reached 103 in the night and it was almost completely gone this morning. The urologist said they are still waiting on the sensitivities in her urine to show what antibiotic will best treat her, but until then they are going to continue to give her two very strong ones through IV. Her white blood cell count was down a bit which is really good. Her inflammation was the exact same score as yesterday (they like it to be half of what it was 24 hours prior) but the doctor still thinks it is good that it at least has stopped climbing. They said if she keeps doing better we may be able to come home Monday morning. She will have to continue being monitored and taking strong oral antibiotics for 14 days.
