Engagement Party

Restored carriage house at Ellerbeck Mansion where we had our engagement party

Emily & Chance

I loved this table (especially those gorgeous roses and that beautiful lantern from Pier 1), but not sure anyone really had time to notice it. Funny how much time it took for me to plan all the details. The poem in the frame is by Neurda and the brown book is a collection of Neruda poems (from my college days). Jeremy chose a Neruda poem to read to me on Valentines day and I knew then and there he was something special.

Trying to keep the hot chocolate bar up and running proved to be the one part of the evening that didn't go smoothly (yes the crock pot has to be on!) but the incredible caramels and Kneaders desserts were a hit

So lovely to see all our friends who came and filled up all the chairs. I'm lucky to have had such good friends over the years. The slideshow in the background is a testament to Jeremy's enduring patience (it took him several hours over several nights to get it perfected for me).... as well as the quality of friends I have (Emily & Chance helped us get it burned to DVD). We loved sharing it with everyone.
