FISHERMAN

Devin and my dad went fishing the other day and this is what Dev brought home for dinner!

Frisbee Golf

Devin and I, along with Pat and Carlie went and played frisbee golf on friday. We had never played before and it was so much fun! We loved it! Devin and Pat actually kept score and were a little competitive, good job babe for winning! Carlie and I mostly chased our frisbee's around, threw them into tree's and buildings, and watched them roll around. It was so fun!

BuNkO

Hey ladies! I have been thinking of starting a Bunko night once a month. It would cost a few dollars every month, but we would have treats and good prizes. We could all rotate who hosted it, so it isn't the same person every time. This would be super fun and give everyone a girls night every month! We need about 8-12 + ladies to make this work. So If you are in the Logan area and want to get involved please let me know and tell your friends. It will be so much fun!! Write a comment if you are interested and leave me your email address so I can give your more details.

Mothers Day

In honor of Mothers Day I have decided to make a tribute to a few of the mothers that have changed my life and helped to contribute to the person that I am today.

The first mother is my own! She is absolutely incredible. I feel so lucky to have been raised by this woman! In the past year we have grown so much closer than ever before and now that I am an adult I have learned to appreciate her and love her far more than I did as a teenager. I just wish that I could have learned those things when I still lived with her. Last summer when I was in the hospital for days she stayed in my room, in a hard recliner every night that Devin couldn't be there just so that I was not alone. She painted my toenails, rubbed my feet, helped me shower, braided my hair, and helped me use the restroom. All of the things that you have to do for a young child, not your 21 year old! She never complained when she had to drive 2 hours each way every day to be with me. She is the best mom that I could ever imagine and I am so glad that she is mine! She is always looking for ways that she can help us out and gives great advice. She is so fun to hang out with too. If you have never played name that 80's tune with my mom, you should...she will smoke you all! She is so funny and easy to talk to. She is so wonderful and I am so incredibly thankful for her and everything that she does for me. If I can be half the woman and mom that she has been to us, my children will turn out great! I am so lucky to call her mom! I love her!

The next women are my aunts, Suzy and Kelli. These women are seriously second mothers to me! I admire them so much for the influence that they have had on my life. They have been by my side supporting me throughout my entire life. I can not remember games, dance reviews, speeches, graduations,or basically anything that they have missed in my life. I love going to my mom's and having them come over. They are so fun to talk to and I just absolutely love them! They were such a huge help with my wedding and my hospital stay! They are so awesome! I love you ladies! Thanks for everything!

There are so many other mothers that have loved and supported me that I am so thankful for!

Happy Mothers day to... Amy Johnson, Aunt Jolene, Aunt Marsha, Aunt Becky, Grandma Rudd, Grandma Knudsen, Joan, Colette, Jessie, Andrea, Heather, Heidi, Charmain, Celeste, Jenn Reese, and Jamie Reese.

I hope you all have a great Mothers Day, thanks for everything over the years!

Devin is 22!

Devin turned 22 on May 2nd. I know I am a little late, but I wanted to give him a birthday shout out and tell you all why I love him so much! Since he is 22, here are 22 reasons why he is the best!

1- He is so selfless! He would do anything to make sure that other people are happy!
2- He is hilarious, seriously how he comes up with the things he says is beyond me!
3- He takes great care of me. He always is making sure that I am happy and that I have everything that I need.
4- He tries to be understanding about girl stuff, like the importance of new shoes and colored hair. Even though he claims that I look the best in my old jeans and tee shirts he understands that sometimes it is important to me to try to look pretty.
5- He loves my family! I am so glad that I married a man that loves my parents. We will have questions about things or won't be able to make a decision about something and he always says, "Let's call your parents and see what they think?" and he will regularly talk or text my parents and Kim and Kori without me even around. I love it!
6- He is so silly! He is always trying to get me to wrestle or sing or do funny dances!
7- He makes me feel beautiful. (even on my worst days)
8- He has watched about every episode of America's Next Top Model with minimal complaining because he knows that I love it!
9- He colored my hair once, it turned out great, but was a hilarious process.
10- He has been with me through my entire college life, constantly encouraging me to keep going and keeping me on task with my homework.
11- He loves to cook and is great at it! It sometimes is embarrassing for me because I am an awful cook!
12- He is a great helper around the house, most of the time he cleans more often that I do! He is awesome at mopping the kitchen floor!
13- He loves the outdoors and we have so many fun memories being in the mountains or at the lake.
14- He ALWAYS takes his wedding ring off and spins it all around the counter or the floor basically any hard surface. I am just waiting for the day that he loses it and we have to buy a new one.
15- He is such a hard worker and is a great provider for us! We are so fortunate!
16- He has horrible road rage and it is so funny to drive with him. He is constantly yelling at people in the other cars like they can hear him and are like "Oh I am so sorry man in the Audi/Corolla let me speed up and I will never cut you off again! I am so sorry, have a great day!" It is so funny because he is constantly complaining and honking his horn. It used to embarrass me , but now it just makes me laugh!
17- He is super smart!
18- He isn't really into sports, but he is super athletic. He picks things up quickly and does them effortlessly.
19- He is good at realizing when he is at fault and apologizing for it. And equally great at helping me realize when I have made a mistake without being rude.
20- He tells me he loves me every time that he leaves the house or hangs up the phone. I love this because I never doubt it!
21- He always kisses me goodbye or hello!
22- He is seriously the greatest husband that I can ever imagine! I am so grateful that he is mine!

Dev I love you!

Lame I know...

I know that I am lame, but seriously I do not really have much else to blog about. So... here are the books that I have read the past month. For anyone wondering I have (for the first time in my life) been keeping up with my new years resolution to read one book every month this year!
In April I read Beautiful Boy by David Sheff. This was a good book, but it took a while to get into. I found it very interesting and super sad. I also read Remember Me by Sophie Kinsella. This book was hilarious! I would recommend it to anyone looking for an easy fun read!
