Twilight!

As you all know, I made the goal to read one book a month this year, but when I started Twilight by Stephenie Meyer I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I read this book in 2 1/2 days! It was incredible! The only problem is that this week I have 2 tests, 1 quiz, and a 7 page paper due and I have not even started studying at all because I have done nothing but read! It was addicting and now I can not wait until I start the sequel! (I am at least waiting until Thursday night when my weekend away from school begins and I have no homework) Has anyone read this? What did everyone think?

I love to read!

I love to read, but have had a hard time the past few years making time for it. So, in order to solve this problem, I made a new years goal to finish at least one book every month on 2008. I know, I know, there are many of you out there that read quadruple that, but for me this was a manageable goal that I honestly felt was attainable for me and my hectic schedule! I am proud to say that so far I have been going strong, for the 2 months of the year so far! In January I read Tuesday's With Morrie written by Mitch Albom. It was such a great book. I would highly recommend it to anyone, it is an easy read, but seriously life changing. Thanks to Amy for giving it to me for Christmas, I now have a better understanding of what really is important in life, and have learned not to take the people that I love for granted! In February I read Eat, Pray, Love written by Elizabeth Gilbert. I really enjoyed this book! I also would recommend this book too! It is about this woman who is very unhappy in her life and decides to take a year to discover herself and find out what really makes her happy. She first travels to Italy and learns all about passion, then she spends time in India in an Ashram and finds God and spirituality, her last journey was to the island of Bali, in Indonesia where she learns about balance and love. I loved this book! It taught me the importance of being happy with yourself. This is such a good read!

Who is smarter: Devin by far! He is brilliant!

Who does the laundry: Well if you mean the entire laundry process, like loading, unloading, folding, and putting away. That would have to be me. Devin is great at loading and unloading, but NEVER folds or puts them away!

Who does the dishes: Devin does the majority of the time, if he has his yellow gloves!

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed: I do. We sleep like we ride in the car. Devin on the driver side and me on the passenger.

Who pays the bills: Devin, I am horrible with money!! If I were in charge of finances, nothing would be paid on time!

Who mows the lawn: We don't have our own lawn to mow yet!

Who cooks dinner: We take turns, but Devin is a better cook than I am.

Who drives when you are together: Devin does the majority of the time, but I do take my turn occasionally.

Who is more stubborn: This is a tough one, it usually depends on the situation. I would say that we are equally stubborn.

Who kissed who first: Devin kissed me! It was at CEU in Aaron Jones dorms, Apt #34B!

Who asked who out first: Devin asked me out! We ate at Groggs and went bowling!

Who proposed: Devin did... BOTH times!

Who has more siblings: Devin does, in his family there are 5 brothers and 3 sisters (4 sister in-laws and 3 brother in-laws) I only have 3 sisters (1 brother in-law)!

Who wears the pants in our family: We share them pretty well!

SIMON

Every Wednesday I babysit the most adorable little boy Simon! He is so fun and Devin and I love having him in our home! The sad thing is that he likes Devin more than he likes me! In this particular instance, Simon and I were coloring. Devin came into the room and Simon grabbed the coloring book and crayons right from under me and went and asked Devin to color instead. Although it made me feel bad, it was so adorable!

Let it SNOW!!!

We have gotten so much snow in Logan, it is ridiculous! This morning when we woke up, Devin had to actually shovel the snow off of the car, because there was so much!
