Smartie Pants

As long as Devin and I have known each other, he has always been far smarter than me. We have taken classes together and every assignment or test we have ever taken he has always scored higher than me. It is usually only by a few points, but it always made me feel so bad. This semester we took 3 classes together, so I was prepared this semester with the knowledge that he is smarter and that he would obviously do better in the classes than me. I was determined not to feel bad when we got our first test results. Last week we had 2 tests, I am ecstatic to announce that on one test I beat him by 5 points! On the second test we got the exact same score! Weird huh, we missed different questions and still got the same! I guess this now evens up the playing field and I no longer feel so intimidated to share a class with him! Hopefully it was not a fluke and my higher or equal scores will continue throughout the semester!! Wish me luck!

Mr. Clean

Devin will not admit this to many people, but I will. He actually really likes to do the dishes, if of course he has his yellow rubber gloves on! It is actually very hilarious because when he has the gloves on he pretty much thinks he is invincible! I got a quick shot of him with his gloves on and thought you might all enjoy it!

#1: What were you doing ten years ago?

Well I was 11 years old. I was in the sixth grade and thought I was super cool because I had a locker! My favorite teacher was Mrs. Barruss and I got kicked out of Mrs. Bingham's art class for smelling the rubber cement. I had my first "boyfriend" which really meant that we just giggled when we saw each other and one time we even got the courage up to hold hands at lunch.


#2: What is on your to-do list today?

Today is such a boring day to have gotten asked that question. I have the day off from work and there is no school. So honestly, I will make some lunch for me and my hubby! I am going to read a little bit and I'm pretty sure there is an America's Next Top Model marathon running on MTV. (I know I am lame, but I love ANTM)


#3: Snacks that I enjoy?

I love chocolate! Anything with chocolate is a good snack for me. I enjoy Joan's caramel, I like pistachios, oranges,ice cream, and nutri-grain strawberry yogurt bars!

#4: 3 bad habits?

1- I always clog the shower drain with my hair, but think it is way gross to actually pick it up. It drives Devin crazy!!!

2- I hate to throw things away. I've got tons of clothes that need to be given to the DI, but I just can't bring myself to give them away.

3- I always take my shoes off at the door, and never remember to actually take them upstairs. This bad habit has rubbed off on my husband too, so now we always have a pile of shoes by the door. It annoys both of us, yet we still do it!


#5: If I were suddenly a billionaire I would?

We would both for sure quit our jobs! We'd probably move to California and build a new house on the beach with a scrapbook room for me and fly tying room for Devin and enough spare rooms that all of our family could come and stay at the same time!! We'd buy new cars! Build a cabin next to my dad's. Donate money to family members in need! Go on a very nice vacation touring Europe!

#8: 5 things that people don't know about me?

1- When I was little I would pray every night for blue eyes, every morning I would look in the mirror and be so sad that my eyes hadn't turned blue. Now, thankfully, I have learned to embrace my brown eyes.

2- I hate to do my hair, it takes so long and eventually gets ruined anyway. I would much rather wear my hair in a boppy (a super high pony tail) on the top of my head everyday. Since I grew up in Tremonton, the land of high hair and big ego's, I do not feel that this is socially acceptable.

3- I have several dream jobs, which include being an actress, my dream role would be Tracy on Hairspray! I would love to be a wedding planner! I would love to be a make-up artist!

4- I love bad weather. I would much rather it be rainy, overcast, or a blizzard than have a sunny day. People think I am crazy, but I don't like hot weather.

5- I am a huge nerd, but I love to read! If I had no other obligations, which does not happen, I could sit and read all day long!

For years my dad has wanted sons! Lucky him he got 2 sons in 5 months! Devin on 07/07/07 and Jeremy on 12/07/07.

Kara's Wedding

Kara and Jeremy got married on December 7th! We are so happy for them! It was a great wedding and we enjoyed the opportunity to get all dressed up!

About Us

We've been married since July! So just over six months now. Time has flown!! We got off to a rough start with hospital stays and medical bills, but things are awesome now and we are loving married life! We are currently living in logan and attending Utah State University! Kelsie will graduate in December 2008 with a BS in Public Relations and Devin will graduate in May of 2009 with a BS in Bio-Chemistry. Devin is currently managing a Verizon Wireless kiosk and Kelsie is working at Best Buy. We don't really have anything exciting happening, but we will try to share anything that does happen on here!
