Cable light by Piks design

-You know piks design? , a small yet soon to be Big global design company back in Northern France , Roubaix "59" to be exact , anyway , Piksor Pierrick and Sylvain Taillard ,Christine Cordelette as founders created the Cable light and many other products, but this one is special to me .
I had the chance to visit their studio last year and found that product particularly interesting and eye catching, so here it is ,A simple metal structure and a fabric cable that you can wrap around to choose or define the silhouette of the product , obviously you can change the cable color to match it to your home environment ...

Go check their website for more infos and keep an eye on PIKS design . Cinq neuf forever ;)

AD46/10 by Romain Duclos,

-Definitely inspired by the Arco lamp but for sure interesting enough to be called a new interpretation , with an heavy concrete base and a chrome lamp shade .
Beyond that i really enjoy the Inverted structure, red cable, sweet visual game with proportions and colors , really like this one.

Hanging lamp Odaiba oby Modoloco for Danese

-Pretty simple idea, awesome construction and eye catching at the end, i say .. i like the Hanging lamp
Bicolor methacrylate: black + white, red+ white, white and dark brown
Odaiba is a hanging lamp that is in perfect line with Danese’s first traditional luminaries designed by Munari. The
manufacturing process is simple. Its disassembly features make transport and stocking easy. It is intuitive to assemble
when it comes to making the modules fit one into the other; its weight and geometrical shape help on the basis of
gravity force principles.
Two identical but specular modules surround the electrical cables and they self-sustain by locking one into the other.
The choice of bicolor methacrylate is induced by manufacturing, optical and also aesthetic reasons.
The manufacturing steps are optimized. In fact, the only necessary procedures are the cut of the profiles and their
folding. Shapes and dimensions are taken into account in order to reduce waste.
The glossy white interior ensures an optimum reflection of the light and therefore a correct modulation of the luminous
flux that doesn’t go wasted.
Odaiba is 100% eco-sustainable and not only in terms of manufacturing and transport. In fact, energy saving
florescent bulbs are used. The intrinsic properties of the only material used make of it a long lasting product whose
disposal is convenient.

Diesel awesome PEt lamp with Foscarini

-from diesel:
"Pet is a table lamp with a strong, dark personality that brings to mind the atmosphere of a gothic cartoon. The design is both warm and at the same time, insistent in its sharp and angular lines, which define the lamp’s forward arching metal stem and in the four “paws”, similar to the claws of a bird of prey. These paws attach to the individual feet-shaped bases, made of striped rubber."

PVC and Nylon zip Evolution lamp by wei-hsin lai

-I found that pretty beautiful when you look at the nature of the "recycled Junk" here :
PVC pipes and Nylon zip ..

here they are :the designer's own words:
The Lamp captures the image of an organism, like bacteria, and presents its tiny world into the bright lighting environment. I want to twist people’s general thinking about bacteria that is harmful for human body. What if you could see bacteria from a different angle, the little thing could be so beautiful. In other words, evolution does not only mean the variation of object’s form but also the changes of people’s vibration. In order to develop this concept, I cut the used PVC pipes and cleaned them. Then, I used Nylon zip ties to connect the structure without glue. By using wasted and modern material, I hope it can help to construct a beautiful and meaningful product. Eventually, people can feel about the evolution by concept transforming and the unique atmosphere of the light.
