TEN IMAGES OF INSPIRATION : CRAFT PROJECTS.

It's getting colder and rainier, which means much more time indoors, being productive. There are plenty of projects I'd like to get done, especially with the holidays coming up (I'm all for handmade gifts.) Let's get crafting!

Sources/projects (from top to bottom): Mini Marquee Sign With Lights from Oh Happy Day, DIY Polaroid Necklace from Dotcomsformoms, Pretty Lace Flower Pots from A Beautiful Mess, Camera Straps from Design Love Fest, DIY Painted Votives from Once Wed, Fishtail Braided Anchor Bracelet from swellmayde, Colour-Blocked Coasters, Mini Tassel Garland from La La Lovely, Desk Fan/Heater from instructables, and Gold Leaf Paper Mache Bowls from Kelli Murray.

INTERIOR INSPIRATION : DOING-IT-YOURSELF.

I feel like I have been slacking in doing any projects for a long while now. Come fall, when both kids will actually be in school (!!), I think it's going to be time to really start working on my home using some creativity. I adore seeing how well others put things together and add their own clever & artistic touches in their spaces. It's time to put my hands to work again...

Sources (from top to bottom): THE IMAGE IS FOUND, Rue, Wednesday, Lo Bjurulf, Design*Sponge, Geninne, sfgirlbybay, The New York Times, Piet Hein Eek, Worthpoint, and elsie marley.

furry fancies.

It is definitely no surprise (due to my deep love of anthropomorphic artwork) that I am rather deeply in love with these animal ornaments from Old World Primitives. These dappers lads and ladies make me smile a whole lot. (See also: website)

oh, dear...

...I'm pretty sure that this is made for children, but I want it bad. Enough to spend money I don't have and try to squeeze my big adult-size head through it. Somebody stop me... (£35)

a victorian-style brooch...

...from Design is Mine sponsor Julianna Swaney of Oh My Cavalier. The brooch features one of Julianna's own drawings and hangs from a pretty French-made velvet bow, all packaged up in a box with a black ribbon. Isn't it just beautiful? ($25)
