long over due up date

little j-man is home!

he went from ski bum to mission man! he is all grown up! we are so proud of him!

wow!!! I am so sorry for the long over due update! I have been so busy and summer has been crazy! so first off! a YEAR ago my little baby was born! can you believe he is one? cuz i sure cant!! July 23rd was a day i will cherish forever! it is the day our small little family of two grew to a family of three and we havent looked back since! Coleman has been the greatest blessing in mine and Nate's life! we have learned so much from this little man and grown so close as a family! He is all over the place and has been walking since he was 9 months old... so you can imagine how good he is at it now! we play chase Coleman all day long! he is starting to really understand stuff and blabbing all sorts of words, we have only been able to figure out a few of them. He says "mommy" "dada" "all done", "doggy", "up" and what we think is "Coleman". you can ask him what the elephant says and he will answer and what the doggy says. its so cute! he also gives high five and knoggin'. he understands what no no means and what hot means, and the most recent is going down the stairs backwards (we've been working on that one for a long time and have tons of bumps, bruises and scars to prove it). This last year has been full of very mini challenges with Coleman too, at 6 months we found out he is allergic to milk, and then most recent he is allergic to a whole slew of things... here is the list.... Gluten, dairy, pork, sodium chloride, and aluminum chloride. so basically what this means is my son can only eat fruit and veggies. It makes eating quite the ordeal! But even with the ups and down and rashes and sleepless nights i would not trade any of them! i am so blessed to be little Colemans mommy! i love this little man!

next update... i'm sure most of you already know this BUT...

MY BROTHER IS HOME!!!!!

jesse got home at 11:00 p.m on May 24th! it was such a fun night! we went to IHOP after he landed. it wasnt the best food but it was good company and great converation! it is so good to have lil j-man home! he is adjusting to life well and now we just gotta get him married (dont tell my mom i said that) so if you have any cute single ladies that me and Megan would approve of just give me a holla! :)

well guys... its almost midnight and i should be sleeping cuz all you mom's know how precious it is! so i'll finish this another night! GOOD NIGHT!
